On September 9th, the Denza Z9GT Yisanfang Flash Charging Zunyue Edition was officially released, priced at 329,800 yuan—40,000 yuan less than the Yisanfang Flash Charging Performance Edition launched in March.
In terms of features, the core configurations of the Denza Z9GT Yisanfang Flash Charging Zunyue Edition, such as its powertrain and intelligent systems, remain largely consistent with those of the Performance Edition. However, it omits several features, including ceramic ventilated discs, gesture control, a co-pilot zero-gravity seat, a driver's headrest speaker, and automatic opening and closing doors, positioning it as a more budget-friendly option.
Previously, Li Hui, General Manager of Denza, hinted that the Denza Z9GT would introduce a new variant, catering to young professionals who desire the ultimate driving experience of a pure electric Yisanfang, balancing luxury and performance, while offering a more affordable choice.
Some media outlets have previously pointed out that the introduction of this new model is aimed at lowering the entry barrier for potential buyers and boosting the sales performance of the Z9GT.

Over the past two months, Denza Z9GT sales have seen consecutive month-on-month declines. Public data reveals that in June, the Denza Z9GT sold 6,025 units, setting a sales record since its debut. However, sales dropped to 5,344 units in July, marking an 11.3% decrease. In August, sales further declined to 3,691 units, with the month-on-month decline widening to 30.9%.
Admittedly, as a mid-to-large-sized grand tourer priced around the 300,000 yuan mark, the Denza Z9GT's market performance remains commendable. Yet, its growth momentum is clearly slowing, with price reductions becoming almost the sole strategy to attract buyers.
Indeed, the Denza Z9GT has already undergone a price adjustment in the past.
Upon its initial launch in 2024, the Denza Z9GT was priced between 334,800 and 414,800 yuan, over 100,000 yuan more expensive than the Xiaomi SU7 at the time. Subsequent market performance indicated that this pricing strategy did not fully resonate with consumers.
Public data shows that from September 2024 to December 2024, monthly sales of the Denza Z9GT increased from 1,172 units to 3,565 units. However, in January 2025, sales plummeted to 1,094 units. Throughout the following year, monthly sales mostly remained in the triple digits. In January of this year, the Denza Z9GT delivered only 62 units.
In March of this year, leveraging the launch of the 2026 model, Denza significantly reduced the official guide price of the Z9GT to between 269,800 and 369,800 yuan, with the starting price dropping by 65,000 yuan.
The impact of this price adjustment was immediate. In the first full month after the launch, the Denza Z9GT sold 3,969 units. In May, sales climbed further to 5,842 units and finally surpassed 6,000 units for the first time in June.
However, the sports coupe market continues to be flooded with competitors, intensifying market rivalry. Following the instant success of the Xiaomi SU7, many brands, including Denza, quickly followed suit. New mid-to-large-sized sports coupes and grand tourers from Huawei's Shangjie Z7/Z7T, Qijing GT7, and others are constantly entering the market, increasing market saturation.
Horizontally compared to its "7 Series" rivals, the Denza Z9GT boasts significant advantages in size and power. Yet, price has emerged as the biggest constraint. Currently, the official guide prices of the three major "7 Series" models range from 209,900 to 329,900 yuan. The Denza Z9GT, priced between 269,800 and 369,800 yuan, is 50,000 to 60,000 yuan more expensive than its competitors—a price difference that consumers can easily factor into their decision-making.
It's also worth noting that under immense competitive pressure, the "7 Series" models have all initiated promotional discounts.
In late June this year, the long-supply-constrained Xiaomi SU7 launched an employee internal purchase discount, directly reducing the price by 10,000 yuan. At that time, according to store staff, ordinary consumers could also enjoy this discount through store operations, with multiple models in stock available for immediate delivery. In early July, the Shangjie Z7/Z7T, which had only been on the market for two months, launched a preferential plan: orders placed before August 4th could enjoy up to 48,000 yuan in limited-time benefits.
In contrast, the Denza Z9GT has maintained its official guide price. Compared to the "7 Series" models with stacked discounts, the price disadvantage of the Denza Z9GT becomes even more pronounced.

Encouragingly, in early September, amid major brands offering car purchase discounts, the Denza Z9GT also rolled out preferential benefits: buyers of the Denza Z9 GT before September 30th can enjoy one year of free flash charging, paired with a three-year zero-interest financing plan, and up to 30,000 yuan in replacement subsidies.
In comparison, the up to 30,000 yuan replacement subsidy for the Denza Z9GT surpasses the subsidy amounts offered by the Qijing GT7, Shangjie Z7/Z7T, and Xiaomi SU7, effectively narrowing the price gap with several competitors.
The introduction of the new variant and the launch of preferential policies indicate that Denza is adjusting the pricing strategy for the Denza Z9GT. The effectiveness of these measures will soon become apparent.
