Chery Group’s wholesale volume in August reached 280,128 units, including approximately 197,000 units for export. After deducting exports, the domestic wholesale volume was approximately 83,000 units, nearly matching the number of units with insurance coverage.

A total of 83,200 units were covered by insurance, which is 3,618 units fewer than the 86,800 retail units. The retail metric is more dynamic, indicating good overall channel health.

From January to August, a cumulative total of 599,000 units were covered by insurance.

Brand Performance Review

Chery (including Zhijie) reported 48,045 units with insurance coverage and 49,344 retail units, showing an increase of 1,299 more retail units. Both the main brand and Zhijie experienced growth.

Jetour recorded 18,099 units with insurance coverage and 19,061 retail units, with 962 more retail units. The X70/Traveler models were key drivers of sales volume.

Fengyun had 12,905 units with insurance coverage and 14,275 retail units, with 1,370 more retail units. Sales of the new energy sedan increased.

iCAR reported 4,110 units with insurance coverage and 4,097 retail units.

Key Model Sales Review: Chery (including Zhijie)

QQ3 achieved 12,229 units with insurance coverage and 12,579 retail units, ranking first in the microcar segment.

Ruihu 8 had 8,396 units with insurance coverage and 8,739 retail units.

Zhijie V9 reported 8,294 units with insurance coverage and 8,312 retail units, firmly establishing itself in the high-end MPV segment with sales exceeding 8,000 units.

Ruihu 9 recorded 1,458 units with insurance coverage and 3,565 retail units, with retail sales surpassing those with insurance coverage by 2,107 units. There was a notable concentration of registrations following delivery.

A9 reported 5,740 units with insurance coverage and 5,859 retail units.

T11 had 807 units with insurance coverage and 2,700 retail units, with retail sales surpassing those with insurance coverage by 1,893 units. The flagship SUV saw increased registrations and sales volume.

iCAR

V23 reported 2,482 units with insurance coverage and 2,488 retail units.

V27 had 1,627 units with insurance coverage and 1,609 retail units.
