Total Investment of 2.05 Billion Yuan! Shihua Technology's Optical Film Material Project Aims for Production Commencement

Recently, significant advancements have been made at the construction site of Shihua Technology's high-performance optical adhesive film materials project. Presently, the exterior facade construction of the project's factory buildings is nearly complete, with interior decoration and pipeline installation progressing swiftly. Production equipment is being installed on-site one by one, and the project is anticipated to commence official operations in early 2027.


The project involves a total investment of 2.05 billion yuan and encompasses the construction of production workshops, warehouses, office buildings, and other facilities. It is centered on the development of high-performance optical materials, including optical display film materials, photosensitive materials, and optical display coating materials. The aim is to align with the trend of large-size and ultra-wide development in the display industry and establish new production lines. Upon full completion and operation, the project is projected to achieve an annual production scale of 650 million square meters of high-end optical film materials.

This project serves as a strategic core platform for the company to focus on enhancing ultra-wide optical material capabilities. Its main products include polarizer protective films, OLED process protective films, OCA optical adhesive films, and more. It is expected to generate an annual operating revenue of 1.392 billion yuan upon reaching full production. The width of the new production lines has been expanded from the previous maximum of 1.7 meters to 2.6 meters. Once completed and operational, it is expected to bridge the gap in the domestic supply of high-generation ultra-wide optical films, with products fully catering to various large-size terminal application scenarios.

The project leader at Shihua Technology stated that by leveraging a state-of-the-art modern production facility, the company will continue to delve deeper into the research, development, and manufacturing of high-performance optical materials. This will further bolster its supply capabilities for high-end products and capitalize on the opportunities presented by the localization development of display materials.
