Just two years ago, NVIDIA's market value was over 300 billion US dollars. It is estimated that many people would not have imagined that today, two years later, NVIDIA's market value would exceed 3 trillion US dollars, and even less would have thought that NVIDIA's market value would surpass Apple and Microsoft to become the world's first.
However, NVIDIA has increased tenfold in just two years, with a current market value of up to 3.335 trillion US dollars, ranking first in the world, surpassing Microsoft's 3.317 trillion US dollars and Apple's 3.285 trillion US dollars.
Why is NVIDIA so impressive? There are many reasons. On the one hand, NVIDIA is the biggest winner in the AI era. With the popularity of AI large models, NVIDIA has also made a fortune, and of course, its market value has also risen.
Secondly, it's speculation and bubble, after all, in the capital market, what is important is whether there are gimmicks, and NVIDIA has plenty of gimmicks and various stories to tell, so it has been rising continuously.
Currently, many people believe that NVIDIA has been overvalued, but whether it is overvalued or not, it has risen so high, and you have to admit it.
So, the question arises, are there any Chinese companies that have the potential to become China's NVIDIA and grow into a company like NVIDIA in the future? To be honest, there are.
Some people say it's Huawei, after all, Huawei also has its own AI chip series called Ascend. Currently, Huawei's AI chips are competitors of NVIDIA. Others say it's Hygon, which has its own DCU, also an AI chip, competing with NVIDIA.
Others also suggest other domestic AI chip companies, such as Moorthreads and other excellent companies.
But to be honest, after carefully analyzing NVIDIA's business lines and comparing them with Huawei, Hygon, Moorthreads, and other companies, I think Moorthreads is the most similar to NVIDIA and has the greatest potential to become China's NVIDIA.
This is not to say that Huawei and Hygon are not good, but their product lines are different from NVIDIA's. AI chips are only a part of their business, unlike NVIDIA.
At the same time, their products, unlike NVIDIA's, do not use GPU technology to dominate the data center, gaming, visual imaging, and other fields. Their products are only a part of NVIDIA's.
When examined carefully, only Moorthreads is similar to NVIDIA, from its unified system architecture, to its product layout of visual + AI intelligent computing cards, to its ability to deploy large-scale clusters of over a thousand cards, etc. Their logic and model are basically similar.
NVIDIA's product line is very rich, including GPU graphics cards for computers, AI chips, etc., following the route of full-featured GPUs. Many domestic AI chip manufacturers do not follow this route.
Moorthreads' underlying business logic is closest to NVIDIA's, and it also follows the route of "full-featured GPUs". This path is the most difficult but also has the highest potential because GPUs can cover many scenarios, unlike other AI chip manufacturers that only focus on a single line.
Of course, Moorthreads still has a
