Recently, information suspected to be the configuration details and design sketches of the vivo X200 series has been gradually exposed online. It is also rumored that this series is not only expected to be the first to launch with MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 processor but will also introduce a compact straight-screen model while maintaining an emphasis on photography experience. Recently, digital bloggers have even exposed more information about the rumored new models in this series, including release dates, screen suppliers, and price ranges.

Firstly, the vivo X200 series is set to be released in October this year. It is rumored that the series will introduce a "mini" smartphone for the first time, targeting consumers who prefer smaller devices. Initially named vivo X200 Mini, the story has taken an interesting turn. It is now reported that the X200 Mini will be marketed under the name X200, while the original X200 will debut as the X200+.

Furthermore, based on previously exposed design sketches, the vivo X200 standard edition is rumored to feature a centrally punched-hole straight screen and a large circular Deco on the back with the flash located at the top right corner of the circular camera module, maintaining a consistent design style with previous X series products.

Specifically, the device is likely to continue the rear-centered circular matrix camera module design from the previous generation, with the strip flash located outside the matrix at the top right corner. Visually, the body appears to be flat, with metal right-angled edges. The screen adopts an equal-depth four-curved design with well-controlled border widths and a classic centrally punched-hole design.

It is worth mentioning that the standard and Pro versions of the vivo X200 series will be the first to be equipped with the Dimensity 9400 processor.

This marks the first time this device will be equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 mobile platform, which is MediaTek's most powerful mobile chip to date.

This chip features the first Cortex-X925 super-large core, offering a 36% performance improvement over the X4 and a 41% AI performance boost.

Simultaneously, the Dimensity 9400 integrates the new Immortalis-G925 GPU, delivering a 37% performance increase over the G720 while reducing power consumption by 30% and enhancing ray-tracing performance by 52%.

Notably, the Immortalis-G925 GPU provides 10 to 24 shader cores, compared to the 10 to 16 shader cores of the previous-generation G720. More GPU shader cores mean Arm significantly unleashes performance on rendering threads, providing players with a more powerful gaming experience.

Moreover, the vivo X200 Pro edition will feature a 1.5K resolution equal-depth four-curved straight screen, supporting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate technology and equipped with self-developed medical-grade eye care technology. Additionally, it will adopt single-point ultrasonic fingerprint recognition technology and be equipped with a roughly 6000mAh battery. Although specific information on charging technology is not yet available, considering that the previous-generation vivo X100 Pro supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging, the charging performance of the new phone should not be inferior to this level. To reduce the weight of the phone, the vivo X200 series Pro edition may adopt the same glass fiber material used in foldable phones.

In terms of photography, in addition to the already exposed periscope telephoto lens, the new phone's main camera may be replaced with a Sony 50-megapixel camera manufactured using a 22nm process, supporting a large 1/1.28-inch sensor and an ultra-large f/1.57 aperture, which will help improve photography quality and night shooting effects.

Furthermore, Mingmei Infinite understands that among vivo X200's main competitors, Xiaomi 15's engineering prototype still carries an ultrasonic fingerprint unlock module, and the mass-produced version will likely retain this feature. However, it does not appear to be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens. Meanwhile, OPPO Find X8 is equipped with a periscope telephoto lens, but it is unclear whether it adopts ultrasonic fingerprint unlock.

In terms of the operating system, it is expected to come pre-installed with OriginOS 5.0 based on Android 15, featuring AI-focused enhancements. In terms of peripheral configurations, features such as NFC, infrared remote control, dual speakers, X-axis linear motor, and IP68 water and dust resistance should also be present.

Finally, from October to November this year, at least nine domestic mobile phone brands are expected to launch new flagship models, with vivo X200 expected to debut first, possibly in mid-October.

vivo X200 is expected to compete with Xiaomi 15 and OPPO Find X8. Compared to Xiaomi 15, vivo X200 has an advantage in photography, but Xiaomi 15 is expected to be equipped with ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, while vivo X200 opts for a slower optical fingerprint solution. Compared to OPPO Find X8, the screen size of vivo X200 is smaller.

Clearly, October this year promises to be more fiercely competitive than last year. With multiple mobile phone manufacturers having released their flagship models in advance, October is poised to witness an intense battle for the new phone market.

Well, combining the information exposed about the vivo X200 series at this stage, it is not difficult to see that in addition to the usual upgrade to a new flagship main controller and bringing better performance, this series of models is likely to offer more attractive features in terms of design, battery capacity, photography, and more. However, for specific product details of this series of new models, further confirmation of related information is needed. Interested friends may wish to continue to pay attention.

So, if you have anything to say about the latest exposure of vivo X200, feel free to leave a comment in the comment section for Mingmei Infinite to participate in the discussion!
