At the event, Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Device Co., Ltd., unveiled three flagship products: the Honor Magic V3, Honor MagicPad 2, and Honor MagicBook Art 14.

While these products may already be familiar to us in the domestic market, that doesn't detract from their excellence. Without further ado, let's take another look at these excellent products launched by Honor.

Honor Magic V3 Launch: The Embodiment of Slim Foldable Devices

The first product launched is naturally Honor's flagship, the Honor Magic V3. In terms of body thickness, which users are most concerned about, it redefines expectations for foldable phones with its 9.2mm folded thickness, and weighs a mere 226g, even lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This allows users to choose a foldable phone without being constrained by weight and appearance.

This is mainly attributed to the new Honor Luban Architecture employed in the Honor Magic V3, which integrates 19 innovative materials and 114 microstructures, making the device both slim and durable. Notably, the Magic V3 has also optimized its hinge design, featuring a slim 2.84mm folding hinge and second-generation Honor Shield Tunnel Steel with a strength of up to 2100Mpa, significantly enhancing the phone's drop resistance. The hinge has also passed 500,000 folding tests, ensuring that the screen crease remains acceptable after 1 million folds.

However, being slim doesn't mean compromising on specs. Firstly, the Honor Magic V3 is equipped with the industry's first third-generation Qinghai Lake battery with a silicon content exceeding 10%, achieving a battery capacity of 5150mAh. Coupled with Honor's proprietary energy efficiency enhancement chip, HONOR E1, and the Honor Dujiangyan power management system, energy management accuracy is improved by three times, ensuring users can easily get through the day even under heavy loads. The combination of 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging also allows users to quickly recharge their phones.

In terms of performance, the Honor Magic V3 is powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8 processor and features Honor's proprietary pure titanium heat dissipation VC thermal structure, significantly boosting the device's extreme performance and reliability during extended use.

For the display, the Honor Magic V3 utilizes Honor's proud Oasis Eye Care Screen technology, which simulates the effect of defocusing lenses to inhibit axial elongation. Simply put, viewing the screen of the Honor Magic V3 for the same duration will provide a better viewing experience than other phones. Moreover, through AI's intelligent recognition capabilities, Honor can automatically detect dry eye risk and adjust parameters such as PWM dimming, sleep-aid display, and natural light eye care to provide comprehensive eye protection.

Lastly, in terms of photography, the Honor Magic V3 boasts a DSLR-level Honor Hawkeye Snap Camera with support for up to 100x digital zoom, enabling users to capture distant scenes or objects. The 50MP main camera paired with an 8-wire SMA memory metal motor significantly improves focusing speed by up to 45% and achieves the largest F1.6 aperture among foldable phones, providing a more professional photography experience. The Hawkeye Snap Camera feature also facilitates capturing the desired moments.

Regarding other specifications, the Honor Magic V3 supports IPX8 water resistance, dual-satellite calling, aerospace special fiber materials, among others, which will not be elaborated on here.

AI is one of the selling points of the Honor Magic V3, featuring Honor's proprietary end-side large model. It provides more personalized operations and services tailored to users' habits, essentially serving as a unique "phone butler" for each individual.

For example, users can utilize the two screens of the foldable device for AI dual-screen translation, a crucial feature for those like me who are abroad. The AI noise reduction function enhances call clarity by reducing external noise, while AI elimination ensures that only selected photos are accessed, protecting sensitive information such as location and timestamps.

The global launch of the Magic V3 embodies Honor's aspirations to further penetrate the global foldable phone market. We believe that the Honor Magic V3, with its comprehensive specifications and unparalleled slimness, will propel Honor forward in both the global foldable phone and overall mobile phone markets.

In terms of pricing, the 16+512GB version of the Honor Magic V3 is priced at 1999 euros (approximately 15,725 yuan) in Europe, significantly higher than the domestic price of 9999 yuan. However, considering the local price levels and income in Europe, this pricing is deemed reasonable.

Tablet and Laptop Launches: Is Honor Establishing a Comprehensive Ecosystem?

The second product launched is the Honor MagicPad 2, featuring a 12.3-inch Ultra HD OLED screen with a 3K ultra-high resolution, 290PPI pixel density, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1600nits peak brightness. As one of the few tablets equipped with an OLED panel, it offers richer color layers and more vibrant visuals when playing videos or viewing images.

In terms of performance, the MagicPad 2 is powered by the third-generation Snapdragon 8s processor, a familiar and flagship-level chip. Given the tablet's larger internal cooling space compared to phones, the MagicPad 2 outperforms phones equipped with the same processor. The device is equipped with a massive 10050mAh battery and supports 66W wired fast charging.

Of course, the MagicPad 2 also features Honor's AI Defocus Eye Care Technology found in the Magic V3, including zero-risk dimming at 4320Hz, natural light eye care, hardware-level low blue light, and sleep-aid display. As always, Honor remains an industry leader in eye protection.

Regarding pricing, the Honor MagicPad 2 is priced at 599 euros (approximately 4713 yuan) in Europe.

The third product launched is the Honor MagicBook Art 14, the first in Honor's new product line, which exemplifies the ultimate in portability. According to official data, the MagicBook Art 14 weighs just 1.03kg and measures only 1cm thick, thanks to Honor's innovative design, including mortise and tenon joints, heterogeneous batteries, ultra-thin VC vapor chambers, and aerospace-grade materials like magnesium alloy body, titanium alloy keyboard, and diamond-cut aluminum fans, which enhance the overall quality while reducing weight.

In terms of specifications, the MagicBook Art 14 is equipped with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, further optimized for battery life and performance with Honor's AI-powered OS Turbo 3.0 technology.

As one of the manufacturers most focused on AI, Honor showcased numerous AI-related technologies at this event, particularly in eye care. These technologies not only provide a more personalized viewing experience but also continuously learn and upgrade to offer comprehensive eye protection solutions. They are among the few AI technologies that genuinely enhance user experience rather than being empty promises.

It is evident that Honor is one of the few manufacturers that truly integrate hardware and AI seamlessly, expanding AI's usage scenarios. Lei Tech believes that in the future, Honor will continue to lead the market in AI innovation.
