After vivo took the lead in action, other competitors are sure to introduce new products successively, but it was unexpected that Huawei would follow suit so quickly. Of course, don't misunderstand me, it's not that the Mate 70 has been released, but rather that the pre-sale of the secondary nova 13 series has officially started. Currently, two models, nova 13 and nova 13 Pro, are available on official channels, and there will definitely be an Ultra version later. As for whether there will be a Vitality version, I personally think it's unnecessary, as it differs significantly from the other versions. Surprisingly, even without knowing the functional configuration or much preheating, sales have been excellent.

According to the official sales page, all color options of the 1TB version of nova 13 Pro are already grayed out, indicating that this version is temporarily out of stock. Although replenishment is sure to follow, this pre-sale speed is impressive. The four color options and two storage versions of nova 13 are relatively abundant, and deposits can currently be paid normally. As for some functional configurations, they can be guessed to some extent.

If the "Vitality" version is not introduced later, it can be basically confirmed that the nova 13 series will come standard with Kirin chips. Surprisingly, the small print at the bottom right corner of the nova 13 series promotional page clearly states that both nova 13 and nova 13 Pro support Beidou satellite messaging, and even the standard version supports satellite communication. This is indeed an upgrade over the nova 12. As the nova series is primarily targeted at young users, photography capabilities have always been a key function.

The nova 13 Pro continues to feature a dual front camera system, with a 60MP dual front camera setup that is sure to generate buzz and possibly even see an upgraded sensor. The rear 50MP main camera is expected to remain unchanged, but the 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens has a high probability of being upgraded to 12MP. The lens style of the standard version remains unchanged, while the Pro version adopts a different style, suggesting an upgrade to a triple rear camera setup. If an additional lens is to be added, it is expected to be a telephoto lens to enhance long-range shooting capabilities.

In addition to the nova 13 series, Huawei has also released promotional images indicating that a full-scenario new product launch event will be held on December 22. The nova 13 series will at most play a supporting role, with a brief introduction expected. The protagonist has been clearly marked, and Huawei has used the slogan "Starry River, Witness HarmonyOS Together" to indicate that the official version of HarmonyOS NEXT will be released on this day. Based on previous online leaks, this date is considered to be earlier than expected, causing tension among many developers as the official release of the system necessitates the simultaneous launch of compatible apps, meaning that major issues cannot be tolerated.

Of course, the fact that HarmonyOS NEXT and the nova 13 series are appearing together does not mean that the latter will be the first device to run the new system. The Mate 70, as the flagship model, will undoubtedly be the first to carry the new system. As the event is themed around a full scenario, it will not be limited to just phones and systems. Other new products are sure to make an appearance, and everyone can look forward to them.

Personally, I am more interested in Huawei's upcoming event than in Apple's product launches. I wonder if any of you will be tuning in?
