Recently, Xiaomi SUV's application information has been exposed, and the new car has been named 'YU7'. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Motors has officially announced that the all-new SUV model, Xiaomi YU7, is expected to officially hit the market in June or July next year.

In terms of design, Xiaomi YU7 shares a similar design language with Xiaomi SU7, featuring a familial front face design. The overall design style is that of a coupe or crossover SUV, reminiscent of Ferrari's Purosangue coupe SUV.

In terms of details, YU7 still adopts the shape of a droplet headlight, but instead of continuing the 'rice grain'-shaped headlights of SU7, it has transformed into a 'cross'-shaped design, making it more concise.

From the side view, Xiaomi YU7 features smooth overall lines, but unlike the highly acclaimed semi-hidden door handle design of SU7, YU7 adopts hidden door handles. It's unclear if this change is based on considerations of wind resistance coefficients. Additionally, the new car offers two styles of wheels: five-spoke petal-shaped and six-spoke, available in sizes of 19/20/21 inches, paired with yellow brake calipers, giving it a sporty and luxurious appearance.

In terms of rear design, Xiaomi YU7 adopts an exaggerated fastback style with prominent rear wheel arches, evoking a similar aesthetic to Ferrari's Purosangue. The Saturn ring-shaped taillights, combined with a slightly upturned rear spoiler and a diffuser below the rear bumper, indeed give it a very sporty look.

The interior has not been officially unveiled, but from spy shots, it appears to have a far-end through-screen, presumably displaying key driving information, with a large central control screen handling multimedia and vehicle control interactions.

In terms of dimensions, Xiaomi YU7 measures 4999/1996/1600mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 3000mm, making it larger than the Hongmeng Zhihang Zhijie R7.

In terms of power, the YU7 models declared use dual-motor drive, with a front motor of 220kW and a rear motor of 288kW, resulting in a combined power of 690 horsepower and a top speed of 253km/h. Additionally, YU7 employs CATL's ternary lithium batteries, and it is expected that a single-motor long-range version will also be introduced.

According to the official announcement, Xiaomi YU7 is scheduled to officially hit the market in June or July next year. In fact, there is still some time before the new car hits the market. The reason for the early exposure of related information is that Lei Jun said it is to allow the YU7 test vehicles to remove heavy camouflage as soon as possible, facilitating more comprehensive, detailed, and prolonged large-scale testing to ensure product quality.

Overall, YU7 continues the familial style of SU7 in design and incorporates elements similar to Ferrari's FUV in its fastback design, making it quite distinctive. Additionally, based on the currently exposed information, the power specifications of the SUV model are improved compared to the SU7 Max version, and its dynamic performance is worth looking forward to.

Of course, what everyone cares about most is the price. Considering that SUVs are generally positioned higher than sedans, it is predicted that the pricing of YU7 will fall within the range of 250,000 to 350,000 yuan.
