Recently, Singapore Wavelength, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wavelength Opto-Electronic, has successfully established its own fully-owned entity, RS Optics Sdn. Bhd. (Chinese name: Ruisi Optics Private Limited), in Malaysia. The registered capital for this new venture stands at 1 Malaysian ringgit.

The business scope of the new company encompasses the manufacturing, assembling, designing, researching and developing, and trading of optical instruments and equipment, along with their respective components. This includes, but is not limited to, optical lenses, optical systems, optical measuring instruments, and other related optical devices. Additionally, the company offers a range of technical and informational services, support, consultancy, and relevant solutions in this domain.

Wavelength Opto-Electronic has announced that the establishment of this overseas subsidiary in Malaysia is a key component of the company's strategic plan to execute a 'domestic + overseas' dual-wheel drive approach. This move signifies the initial preparatory steps for new investments in Malaysia, with the goal of mitigating the risks associated with a volatile international trade landscape and boosting the company's overall competitiveness in overseas markets.
