On October 24th, Leap Optics (Suzhou) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Leap Optics") successfully wrapped up a new round of financing. This round was spearheaded by Biyi Group, with Suzhou Zhenyi and United Optimal Investment joining in as co-investors. This marks the Series C funding round and represents the second financing event for the company this year.

Established in 2012, Leap Optics stands as a leading supplier of core waveguide devices for AR glasses. Its business scope encompasses research and development, production, and sales. The company has consistently dedicated its efforts to waveguide display technology and holds independent intellectual property rights for geometric waveguide modules. Its core team members boast extensive industry experience in both optics and AR fields.


Up to now, Leap Optics has successfully gone through nine rounds of financing. It has also established a production capacity capable of manufacturing approximately 1 million units of AR geometric waveguides. The company possesses independent intellectual property rights and well-established mass production processes for geometric waveguides. These processes cover all aspects of mass production and yield management. With cumulative industry mass production experience surpassing hundreds of thousands of units, the company actively collaborates with upstream and downstream partners within the industrial chain. This collaboration aims to bolster the production and delivery of AR geometric waveguides.

Following the completion of this financing round, Leap Optics is set to further refine its industrialization layout for AR geometric waveguides. It will strengthen coordinated industrial development, continuously expand domestic production capacity for AR geometric waveguide devices, and ensure the efficient and stable delivery of orders to its core partners.
