Recently, Fanlian Xinan, a leading domestic developer of foundational software supporting development, has completed a new round of strategic financing. The company's multiple product lines have achieved breakthroughs in development and entered a comprehensive acceleration stage.

This round of financing was jointly completed by Junxi Capital, Xingxiang Capital, and Yitong Venture Capital. With this financing, Fanlian Xinan will continue to deepen its research in program analysis technology, carry out dual innovations in core technology and solutions through the deep integration of large model technology, accelerate becoming a leading manufacturer of AI-driven hardware and software development support tools, and fully realize the corporate mission of "AI For Better Code".

This round of financing has further gathered forces from various parties such as industrial investment institutions, local funds, and well-known financial investment institutions, which can help Fanlian Xinan continue to leverage its own advantages, deeply integrate technological progress with industry attributes, and accelerate seizing key market segments with high reliability and high security requirements such as national defense and military industry, high-end manufacturing, financial and government enterprises, and chip design.

01 Rich Product Matrix, Leading Industry Innovation with "Domestic Software Testing Tool Leaders"

Since its establishment in 2017, Fanlian Xinan has positioned its core capabilities as program analysis experts, deploying three product lines including software quality testing, software security testing, and digital IC verification. Up to now, it has introduced more than ten mature products to the market, and the core technical indicators of its main products have surpassed international advanced levels, making it a leader in software testing tools in China with early development, large scale, comprehensive products, and strong technology.

In 2022 and 2023, Fanlian Xinan led the writing of the "Network Information Independent Innovation Research Report" software testing tool chapters for two consecutive years, leading the continuous development of domestic independent software testing tools.

02 Accumulated Strength in Verifying EDA Tools

As one of the earliest domestic manufacturers engaged in the research and development of verification EDA tools, Fanlian Xinan has established a professional team since 2018, dedicated to the research and development of domestic IC/FPGA digital front-end design verification tools, aiming to address the bottlenecks in China's EDA field. Up to now, the company has successively launched multiple independently controllable EDA products covering full-scene digital front-end verification software and hardware platforms, including static rule checking tools, software simulation tools, hardware-accelerated simulation tools, and prototype verification tools.

Among them, mature products such as the static rule checking tool VHawk-Lint and the cross-clock domain analysis tool VHawk-CDC, with completely independent intellectual property rights and excellent performance, have gained widespread recognition in the domestic market and successfully served dozens of customers.

Other products under development, after continuous refinement, are poised to make their mark. The prototype verification system-InfinitPro, planned to be officially released at the end of 2024, is based on world-class supercomputing network hardware architecture and cloud-native software architecture, with traceable core software and hardware technologies. The product's key indicators such as simulation capacity, simulation performance, and debugging capabilities have reached international leading levels.

03 Embracing Large Models, Fully Implementing AI Strategy

In recent years, more and more artificial intelligence technologies have been successfully applied to various software engineering activities such as software testing, defect prediction, fault localization, automatic repair, automatic code generation, and completion. Large models have also been deeply integrated with various aspects of software engineering, bringing innovations to the entire software engineering lifecycle process, and a new generation of intelligent software engineering (AI4SE) has entered a rapid development period.
