This year's competition yielded numerous innovative ideas and works characterized by thoughtful and creative applications, spanning nearly 20 diverse fields including government services, digital campuses, scientific and technological innovation, smart travel, healthcare, cultural tourism, and more.
One standout project, titled "No Need to Charge, Carry It with You Anywhere," from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, aimed to assist the elderly through technology. Leveraging RFID tags' passive nature and the absence of charging or maintenance requirements, the project enables passive biometric authentication in scenarios without mobile phones or cellular network coverage. Another project, "Long-term Care Insurance Smart Settlement," from the Joint Innovation Laboratory for Data Elements, introduced a new solution for convenient payment for elderly insured individuals by linking the Suishen Code with mobile banking. The "Grow with the Code" project from Datong Middle School focused on "collecting and applying student honor certificates," innovatively utilizing blockchain capabilities to facilitate the querying, displaying, and verification of various certificates through a "One-Stop Service" platform. The Education Bureau of Pudong New Area is exploring the full-process digital management of student training by integrating graphic codes, combining spatial geographic information from a "single map" with educational object codes such as school training buildings and classrooms, and utilizing VR/AR technology to create virtual training scenarios blending virtual and real elements. The "Tuhu Car Care Digital Intelligent Service" from LanTu Information Technology Co., Ltd., utilized the Suishenban app as an entry point, relying on the Pujiang Digital Chain infrastructure to achieve full-process traceability of auto parts from production to consumer purchase. Finally, the "One-Code Travel" public transportation "Intermodal Day Pass" launched by Suishenxing Smart Transport Technology Co., Ltd., allows citizens to seamlessly travel on subway, bus, and ferry lines within the city with a single ticket.
The 'Suishen Code' has emerged as the country's first provincial-level interconnected, ubiquitous, and intelligent 'personal and business service code for citizens,' effectively supporting Shanghai's recent efforts to promote high-quality development, create a high-quality life, and achieve efficient governance. Since this year, personal service scenarios such as 'One-Code Travel,' 'One-Code Medical Service,' and 'One-Code Leisure Travel' have been used nearly 450 million times. Enterprise service scenarios like 'One-Code Publicity,' 'One-Code Verification,' and 'One-Code Push' have been utilized over 1.45 million times. Urban object code scenarios such as 'Code-Based Management,' 'Code-Based Environment,' and 'Urban Governance' have been employed approximately 3.8 million times.
At the ceremony, leaders from the Municipal Education Commission and the Municipal Health Commission presented honorary plaques for the 'Best Practice Base of Suishen Code' to Minhang Middle School East Campus, Huadong Hospital, and Dongfang Hospital, which actively participated in the pilot application innovation of the 'Suishen Code.' Leaders from the Municipal Big Data Center presented 'Certificate of Social Practice for Students' to representatives of college students who actively participated in this year's 'Suishen Code' Application Innovation Competition.
Efforts are underway to explore innovative applications of the 'Suishen Code' and promote ecological cooperation and industrial upgrading through this code. During the ceremony, witnessed by leaders from relevant departments, the competition organizer, Shanghai CA, collaborated with 12 related ecological enterprises to hold a signing ceremony for industrial cooperation. Moving forward, they will jointly build a social application technology ecosystem for the 'Suishen Code' with related ecological enterprises, actively promote the incubation of excellent creative ideas and the transformation of competition results, and strive to provide stronger support for leveraging the 'Suishen Code' in promoting urban digital transformation and development, as well as driving industrial growth.
