Aiming to formulate a high-quality 15th Five-Year Plan for Digital China, the National Data Administration Bureau convened a symposium in Wuhan, Hubei Province, on the morning of February 27th. The objective was to gather opinions and suggestions from local industry authorities, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives on the construction goals and tasks of Digital China. As a prominent leader in China's smart manufacturing industrial software and industrial AI sectors, GCLSI was honored with an invitation to participate and deliver a keynote speech.
The symposium was chaired by Shen Zhulin, a member and deputy director of the National Data Administration Bureau. In attendance were Zhou Senfeng, secretary and director of the Hubei Provincial Data Bureau, officials from the Policy and Planning Department of the National Data Administration Bureau, and representatives from various provincial departments, enterprises, universities, and scientific research institutions.
During his presentation, the GCLSI representative focused on the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry. He offered insights and recommendations regarding the current state of data development and utilization within the semiconductor industry, the challenges faced, and the research and development of key technologies for data intelligent analysis software. Additionally, he discussed the construction of a national-level data resource infrastructure during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
After attentively listening to the diverse opinions and suggestions from all sectors, Shen Zhulin emphasized that the scientific preparation of the 15th Five-Year Plan for Digital China is crucial for advancing the construction of Digital China and the high-quality development of China's data initiatives. Moving forward, the National Data Administration Bureau will thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourse on data development and security, integrating top-level design with public consultation. The Bureau will steadfastly proceed with the planning process, infusing digital momentum into the comprehensive advancement of building a powerful China and the great cause of national rejuvenation with Chinese characteristics.
