Nezha Auto App Offline and Inaccessible? Response: Not Due to Unpaid Traffic Fees, Technical Team On Duty

During the May Day holiday, several Nezha Auto owners reported online that the Nezha Auto official website was inaccessible, the Nezha Auto App was offline, preventing owners from accessing their cars. Vehicles could not be remotely controlled, and functions such as checking charging status and range were unavailable.

Nezha Auto responded, clarifying that the App failure was not related to unpaid traffic fees. Additionally, they assured that technical department personnel were on duty during the holiday, ensuring there was no situation of no one being on watch.

Currently, Nezha Auto has preliminarily identified this phenomenon as a system failure, which has since been repaired. The company is continuing its investigation to prevent similar issues from recurring.

The Nezha Auto App and official website have now returned to normal operation.

This outage is not the first time such an anomaly has occurred.

Earlier this year, in January, Nezha experienced a 72-hour server overload outage. In April, the vehicle system was paralyzed due to the retirement of 3G base stations, yet the technical team deceived users by claiming it was a "maintenance upgrade." Now, the App has crashed to the extent that even the official website is inaccessible, revealing outdated server architecture and a lack of disaster recovery in different locations. This has raised questions from consumers about whether the company is "saving money at the expense of its core business."

Even more concerning, the company has incurred losses of 18 billion yuan in three years, with sales plummeting by 98%, factories halting production, and even the 3 billion yuan lifeline being used to repay debts first. Netizens have questioned how the company can afford to repair its servers with all the money it has burned through.

Since December last year, Nezha Auto has been plagued by negative news, including the "freezing of hundreds of millions of equity of its parent company." Last month, rumors circulated that Nezha Auto's former CEO Zhang Yong had obtained a UK visa before leaving his position and was currently residing in the UK. Regarding these rumors, Zhang Yong responded on his WeChat Moments, stating, "I am still serving as a consultant for Nezha Auto and am busy raising funds for the company everywhere."
