According to a report by Fast Technology on October 6, blogger ExperienceMore revealed that Xiaomi will hold a new product press conference at the end of the month, featuring a large-scale event with several flagship products.
The press conference will showcase the Xiaomi 15 series of smartphones, Xiaomi Pad 7 series, eSIM long-lasting watches, earphones, new home appliance ecosystem products, and more.
According to current information, the Xiaomi 15 series will be the first globally to launch Qualcomm's new flagship platform. However, it is still unclear whether it will be named Snapdragon 8 Gen4 or Snapdragon 8 Elite this year, and we will have to wait for Qualcomm's Snapdragon Summit for the official announcement.
Nevertheless, the performance specifications are clear: it adopts a 2+6 architecture design, with the two super cores ultimately clocked at 4.32GHz and the six large cores at 3.53GHz, representing a significant upgrade from the previous generation's 3.3GHz.
This time, two models will be unveiled first: the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro.
The Xiaomi 15 features a small-sized straight-edged display with a 1.5K resolution, a metal frame, a glass body, a square high-quality DECO rear camera design, ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, and a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP large sensor main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 3.X telephoto macro lens.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is positioned as a comprehensive flagship device, featuring a 2K curved display. In addition to the standard body, there is also a version with a titanium metal frame. It also supports ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking and satellite communication technology. For photography, it boasts a 50MP super large sensor main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, marking the return of the periscope telephoto lens after a three-year absence.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 series consists of two models: Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, respectively. Overall performance has been upgraded compared to previous generations, signaling the end of the Snapdragon 870 era.
