According to a December 1 report by Kuai Keji, Leap Motor officially announced its sales performance for November today.
In November, Leap Motor delivered over 40,000 units for the first time, reaching 40,169 units; from January to November, the total deliveries reached 251,207 units, making Leap Motor the first new energy vehicle brand to achieve its annual sales target ahead of schedule.
With only one month left in the year and the end of the year often being a sales peak, based on November's performance, Leap Motor's cumulative sales in 2024 are expected to approach 300,000 units, with full-year sales expected to double year-on-year.
Leap Motor currently offers five models for sale, including one small car from the T series, the T03, three SUV models from the C series, and one sedan from the C series.
The C series, with its better gross margin, is currently the main sales driver. Data provided by Leap Motor shows that in the first three quarters of 2024, the sales proportion of the C series was 71.8%, 74.6%, and 78.3%, respectively.
Furthermore, Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Leap Motor, previously stated during the third-quarter earnings call that Leap Motor expects a significant sequential increase in sales in the fourth quarter of this year.
Next year, Leap Motor aims to achieve an average monthly sales volume of 40,000 units, with a full-year sales target of 500,000 units or more; the gross margin is expected to exceed 10% (currently at 8.1%).
Compared to other emerging domestic automakers, Leap Motor has ranked second in sales among new forces, surpassing Wenjie and closely trailing Lixiang.
