On January 17, the "How China, the Prosperous Dynasty" – the 2025 Inaugural Dynasty Festival was successfully held at BYD's headquarters. This event brought together Dynasty car owners, media influencers, KOLs, and experts from across the country, presenting a feast that transcends time and space.
How China
The name "How China" embodies the unwavering struggle of the Chinese nation. Through the inheritance of over 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, the word "China" has been deeply etched in the hearts of every Chinese descendant. Driven by new energy, the passenger vehicle market peaked at 23 million in 2024. Starting from July, the penetration rate of new energy vehicles surpassed 50% and remained above that level for five consecutive months, making new energy vehicles the true mainstream in the market. The market share of Chinese brands also historically exceeded 60%. As a leader in new energy, BYD sold 4.27 million vehicles throughout 2024, achieving the triple crown in domestic enterprises, brands, and the global new energy market. The Dynasty Network, which supports half of BYD's sales, has cumulatively sold over 7 million vehicles. From 610,000 vehicles sold in 2021 to 1.13 million in 2022, the million-unit mark was broken within a year. Riding on this momentum, continuous breakthroughs were achieved. In 2024, the Dynasty Network sold 2.09 million vehicles, surpassing the 2 million mark in one fell swoop! Prosperous Dynasty
BYD's Dynasty series now boasts six major model IPs: Han, Tang, Qin, Song, and Yuan, all of which have become representative mainstream products in their respective segments. The new IP "Xia," an MPV with the same name, was launched on January 8, leading the new trend of medium and large intelligent flagship MPVs in the 300,000-yuan price range.
The Dynasty is positioned as mainstream, high-quality, and embodying the new national trend. Dynasty products are designed for the mainstream population in the mainstream market, meeting the travel needs of the vast majority of users. The car colors are also designed in combination with Chinese civilization, drawing inspiration from Chinese landscapes to launch the widely acclaimed Celestial Grey and Glacier Blue; drawing inspiration from Chinese poetry to create Weiyang Grey and Golden Scale Orange; and drawing inspiration from famous Chinese porcelain to create Silver Glaze White and Ice Jade Green. Dragons dance across the land, enjoying the flowing costumes together. BYD's Dynasty collaborated with six intangible cultural heritage craftsmen to create six sets of high-end customized national trend costumes, presenting an Eastern aesthetic feast through cultural blending that spans time and space. This series of costumes cleverly combines intangible cultural heritage techniques, Chinese style elements, and modern design. It is not only a display of fashion but also a tribute and inheritance of traditional Chinese craftsmanship.
Mutual Dedication
Currently, BYD's Dynasty Network has reached 7 million users. On January 17, the Dynasty held the "How China, the Prosperous Dynasty – Han L and Tang L Design Launch and 2025 Inaugural Dynasty Festival".
In the afternoon of the festival, the Dynasty's new dual flagship models – Han L and Tang L – were unveiled, and the Dragon Face aesthetics were officially upgraded to the "Loong Face" new national trend Dragon Face aesthetics, incorporating deeper reflections and explorations of Chinese culture.
A pain car red carpet area jointly branded with Black Myth was set up on-site, with game character cosplayers cooperating with pain cars to perform, exploring new ways of trendy fusion across boundaries.
A national trend block was also set up on-site for immersive interactive experiences by users.
