Wang Zhonglin Inspects Ge-Vision to Explore High-Quality Development of the AI Industry

On September 11th, Wang Zhonglin, the Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and concurrently the Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, paid a visit to Ge-Vision. His purpose was to conduct in-depth research on the high-quality development of the AI industry. He was accompanied by provincial leaders Guo Yuanqiang, Peng Yong, and Cheng Yongwen during this visit.

He Jun, who serves as the Vice President of TCL Industries and also the CEO of Ge-Vision, presented a comprehensive report to Secretary Wang Zhonglin. The report covered the company's development trajectory, technological innovations, and the scope of its business operations. He Jun went on to give a detailed account of the applications of the company's self-developed industrial intelligent platform, energy and carbon management system, quality management system, and digital supply chain system. He highlighted that, drawing on TCL's extensive expertise accumulated over more than 40 years, the company has fostered collaborative capabilities in areas such as algorithms, data, computing power, domain knowledge, and equipment. By deeply integrating AI technology with industrial software and intelligent equipment, Ge-Vision has successfully crafted an end-to-end industrial AI solution. This solution encompasses data foundations, model capabilities, and business tools, and has yielded remarkable practical outcomes in aiding manufacturing enterprises in their digital and intelligent transformation.

After attentively listening to the company's report, Secretary Wang Zhonglin voiced his approval of Ge-Vision's development endeavors. He underscored that intelligent manufacturing stands as the primary avenue for driving industrial technological transformation and optimization upgrades. He stressed the importance of focusing on 'AI + Industry' and further intensifying the application of AI models in various industrial domains, including research and development, design, production, logistics, and more. This, he said, would facilitate the intelligent linkage of all industrial elements and provide enhanced support for diverse industrial enterprises in their pursuit of intelligent manufacturing.
