On January 15, Hubei Provincial Party Secretary Wang Zhonglin and Deputy Provincial Party Secretary and Acting Governor Li Dianxun held a discussion and exchange with TCL's founder and Chairman Li Dongsheng in Wuhan.

Wang Zhonglin warmly welcomed Li Dongsheng and his entourage to Hubei for inspection, research, and deepening cooperation, expressing sincere gratitude to TCL for its steadfast support of Hubei's economic and social development over the years.

Wang Zhonglin emphasized that under the robust leadership of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, Hubei's economic operation has maintained a steady and improving trajectory, achieving both quantitative and qualitative growth, and following an upward development curve. TCL has significantly contributed to this progress. Currently, the province is diligently studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his inspection of Hubei, striving to advance scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation. By making breakthroughs in the development of advantageous industries such as optoelectronic information, Hubei aims to establish a modern industrial system that showcases its unique strengths. TCL, as a leading enterprise in semiconductor displays, smart terminals, and other industries, possesses a solid foundation for collaboration with Hubei. Following the discussion, the participating leaders and guests jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between the Wuhan East Lake New Technology Development Zone Management Committee and TCL Technology Group Co., Ltd. Provincial leaders Guo Yuanqiang and Cheng Yongwen were also in attendance.
