After delving into the realms of automotive and home appliance innovation, Xiaomi's "supermarket" of offerings now includes apartments.
Early this morning, Zhang Jianhui, Vice President of Xiaomi Group, made an official announcement: "Xiaomi Youth Apartments are now simultaneously available in Beijing and Nanjing." The Beijing Youth Apartment is situated on Dingsi Road in Changping, bordered by a special police unit to the east, families of armed police to the west, and Bishui Manor to the north, offering a reassuring sense of security.
From the interior images shared by Mr. Zhang, it's evident that the Beijing apartments primarily comprise 29-square-meter units, fully furnished, with options for smart home customization. Each unit includes an independent bathroom and shared facilities such as kitchens, media rooms, and gyms.

This compact yet well-equipped studio follows Xiaomi's characteristic pricing strategy, with a monthly rent set at an affordable 1999 yuan.
Upon witnessing such a reasonable price, many Beijing residents have already begun contemplating career changes. However, for the time being, these 2658 apartments are exclusively available to Xiaomi employees, with recent graduates given priority.
In contrast, the Nanjing apartments are open to all Xiaomi employees on a first-come, first-served basis.
The entire youth apartment complex in Nanjing is nestled within the Jianye River Southwest CBD, with a subway station conveniently located just outside and a mere 100 meters from Xiaomi Nanjing Science and Technology Park. Such a commuting convenience is truly enviable.
Nevertheless, with only 566 apartments available in Nanjing, those eager to reside in a "Xiaomi Home" will need to act swiftly.
