According to IT Home's news on August 1, after exposing the iPhone 16 standard and iPhone 16 Pro models, Sonny Dickson, the source, tweeted again today (August 1) on platform X, sharing photos of the iPhone 16 Pro Max mockup.

The mockup photos exposed this time showcase three colors: white, black, and gray. Among them, the black version is particularly noteworthy and is expected to become the sought-after color of the year.

Currently, Apple offers the iPhone 15 Pro Max in natural titanium, white titanium, blue titanium, and black titanium. Although officially labeled as "black," the actual color leans more towards dark gray.

However, in the mockup photos exposed this time, the black color displayed is closer to a true black. It is still unclear whether the retail version will also adopt a dark black design like the mockup.

IT Home cites previous reports from sources that the iPhone 16 Pro Max may feature a massive 6.9-inch display, breaking the upper limit of iPhone screen sizes.
