On March 20, the 2025 China Appliance & Electronics World Expo (AWE 2025) opened its doors, showcasing the latest innovations in consumer electronics. In Hall W5, Hisense made a grand entrance with the world's first 116-inch RGB-Mini LED TV UX, along with its comprehensive lineup of 100-inch products, marking the dawn of the WALL era for living rooms.
Departing from traditional Mini LED TVs that rely on single white or blue backlight, Hisense RGB-Mini LED TVs employ RGB backlight sources in red, green, and blue primary colors. Leveraging Hisense's advanced Hisense Chip AI picture quality chip and RGB-Mini LED backlight chip, the TV offers synchronized light and color precision control. This results in a light source and color control accuracy that surpasses traditional LCD TVs by over three times, reducing energy consumption while delivering superior picture contrast and color accuracy. Users can expect a vibrant color experience with more accurate reds, greens, and clearer blues.
RGB-Mini LED TVs significantly enhance the visual experience when watching large-screen content. For instance, they improve dark color detail performance in HDR movies by over 20% compared to traditional TVs. Additionally, they increase backlight synchronization speed for moving images by 25%, ensuring true 0-delay, and enhance game image layering and color purity by more than 10%.
As an industry pioneer with five core technology systems for Micro LED chip research and development, drive control, precision packaging, image enhancement, and picture quality restoration, Hisense showcased the world's first self-emitting 136-inch and 163-inch Micro LED TVs. These groundbreaking TVs integrate 24.88 million Micro LED chips and introduce a 48nit viewing mode, precisely aligning with DCI cinema standards and redefining high-end home theater visual experiences. With "size freedom" and "scenario-based form factors," Hisense Micro LED TVs support free splicing and customizable sizes up to 271 inches, redefining display boundaries.
In the laser TV exhibition area, Hisense presented its 2025 flagship 120-inch laser TV, Explore X1. This model not only adopts the "DLP digital cinema projection technology" shared with movie theaters, boasting the industry's highest 110% BT.2020 cinematic industrial color gamut, but also features Hisense's innovative spectral selection screen, boosting brightness to 1000nit and significantly enhancing the large-screen viewing experience. It stands alone in the industry with 0 harmful blue light, 0 screen radiation, 0 glare, 0 reflection, and 0 flicker.
In the era of AI, large-screen TVs have transcended their role as mere "drama-watching tools." As a leader in AI TVs, Hisense has fully integrated and deeply applied AI technology, pioneering access to DeepSeek and incorporating industry-leading 18 AI agents. These agents automatically trigger matching services based on users' actual usage scenarios and intentions, transforming the TV into a family teacher, fitness coach, travel guide, and more, enabling seamless communication and services.
Li Wei, President of Hisense Visual Technology, revealed that at this year's AWE Hisense booth, all displayed products are 100 inches and above. TV consumption has entered an era where the TV size matches the wall size. First, new display technologies like RGB-Mini LED bring TV picture quality closer to the human eye's perception of natural limits, eliminating the graininess of traditional large-screen TVs when viewed up close. Second, these technologies are environmentally and visually friendly, enhancing viewing comfort during close-up viewing. Third, the ultra-slim design of large-screen TVs integrates seamlessly into home environments. Fourth, the integration of AI into all large screens simplifies and smartens large-screen interaction. The immersive audio-visual entertainment experience of 100-inch screens is drawing more users back to large screens, ushering in the era of AI WALL.
