According to "City Image", Baidu Vice President Chen Yifan has recently been rotated from the Artificial Intelligence Cloud Group (ACG) to the Mobile Ecosystem Group (MEG) to oversee commercialization efforts.

Chen Yifan is a "veteran" of MEG. Public records show that from 2016 to 2019, he served as the head of integrated marketing strategy, sales, and general manager of Baidu's Key Account Department. From 2019 to November 2022, he served as the general manager of Baidu Alliance and head of user growth, fully responsible for the management of Baidu Alliance and user growth within the mobile ecosystem.

In December 2022, Chen Yifan was rotated to ACG, where he served as vice president of Baidu Intelligent Cloud, responsible for solutions and sales management in smart cities, technology, water management, and the media industry.

Chen Yifan's return to MEG will directly impact the functions of Wang Fengyang, the former Baidu Group Vice President and head of the mobile ecosystem business system.

Recently, Baidu has initiated a new round of cadre rotation. On October 12, during an internal director meeting for the new quarter, Robin Li emphasized once again the importance of maintaining turnover to prevent organizational rigidity.

According to "City Image", starting from November 1, 2024, Meituan has introduced two new exclusive discounts for internal employees:

1. Employees can enjoy an additional 50% discount on all Meituan bike products.

Notably, these discounts are not limited to full-time employees but are also applicable to interns.

Meituan has long been nicknamed the "Boiled Water Team" by outsiders due to its relatively limited employee benefits compared to other internet companies. Regarding these new employee discounts, one Meituan employee commented, "The boiled water has been sweetened with sugar, and it tastes a bit sweeter now." Meanwhile, some Meituan employees also expressed hope for more exclusive discounts in areas such as hotels, tickets, grocery shopping, and mobile power bank rentals.
