After the major rotation, minor adjustments continued, with Baidu Vice President Chen Yifan returning to MEG to oversee commercialization efforts

On November 4, according to Market Vision reports, Baidu Vice President Chen Yifan recently rotated from the Intelligent Cloud Business Group (ACG) to the Mobile Ecosystem Group (MEG), where he is responsible for commercialization efforts.

Chen Yifan is a "veteran" of MEG. Public records show that from 2016 to 2019, he served as the head of integrated marketing strategies for Baidu's major account department, sales leader, and general manager of the major account department; from 2019 to November 2022, he served as general manager of Baidu Alliance and head of user growth, fully responsible for managing Baidu Alliance and mobile ecosystem user growth.

In December 2022, Chen Yifan was rotated to ACG to serve as Vice President of Baidu Intelligent Cloud, responsible for solutions and sales management in smart cities, pan-technology, water utilities, and the media industry. Chen Yifan's return to MEG may have a direct impact on the functions of Wang Fengyang, the former Vice President of Baidu Group and head of the mobile ecosystem business system.

Recently, Baidu has also initiated a new round of executive rotations.

On October 8, Baidu Group Executive Vice President Luo Rong (Julius) rotated to take over as head of the Mobile Ecosystem Group (MEG), no longer serving as the Group's CFO. Simultaneously, the Health Business Group (HCG) was merged into MEG. Baidu Group Senior Vice President He Junjie (Jackson) rotated to serve as Acting CFO, no longer overseeing MEG. This can be considered the largest executive rotation within the year.

On October 12, Baidu held an internal director meeting for the new quarter, where Robin Li once again emphasized the importance of maintaining metabolism to prevent organizational rigidity.
