Data shows that Lixiang's current market value is approximately 19.5 billion US dollars, equivalent to about 141.5 billion yuan in Chinese currency. Meanwhile, Seres' market value is 151.1 billion yuan, surpassing Lixiang by about 10 billion yuan. Seres has become the leader among all new car-making forces.
The market values of other new forces are far inferior to Lixiang's. Lixiang was once the leader, and by surpassing it, Seres has become the new leader.
Not only in terms of market value, but also in terms of various indicators in the first quarter, Seres outperformed Lixiang.
From the perspective of sales, the sales volume of Wenjie in the first quarter reached 85,842 vehicles, while Lixiang sold 80,400 vehicles, with Wenjie selling over 5,000 more vehicles.
From the perspective of revenue, Seres' revenue in the first quarter was 26.56 billion yuan, also higher than Lixiang's 25.6 billion yuan, with a difference of about 1 billion yuan.
In terms of gross profit margin, Seres' gross profit margin was 21.5%, also higher than Lixiang's 20.6%.
In the first quarter, Seres' operating profit was a positive 313 million yuan, while Lixiang's operating profit was a negative 585 million yuan. However, due to its large amount of cash on hand and significant investment and financial income, Lixiang ultimately achieved a positive net profit.
It is clear that Seres has surpassed Lixiang, the former king among new forces, in most indicators, and has claimed the throne.
All of this was brought about by embracing Huawei. If Seres had not cooperated with Huawei and they had not launched the AITO Wenjie series of cars, it would have been impossible for Seres to achieve this alone.
Currently, the Wenjie M9 has become the sales champion among cars priced over 500,000 yuan. In the past, even cars priced over 300,000 yuan were dominated by brands like BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, and domestic cars could not compete. But now, the times have obviously changed.
