Recently, STICK shared its latest advancements in the premium optical polyester substrate film industry during institutional research. The company is concurrently pushing forward two pivotal film material projects aimed at replacing imported products, with a focus on key applications like LCD polarizers and advanced display touch panels.

The first project involves the high phase difference polyester optical substrate film, which serves as a substitute for traditional TAC films. It is primarily utilized in LCD polarizer protective films, addressing niche demands such as eliminating rainbow patterns, reducing polarizer shadows, and providing optical compensation for high-end displays. The project commenced sample production in July 2025 and has now entered the sample testing phase with several clients, demonstrating performance comparable to that of imported counterparts.
The second project focuses on the anti-coloring pre-coated polyester substrate film, a highly transparent, low-iridescence double-sided pre-coated PET product. This film is ideal for touch ITO/AgNW substrates, high-end display protection, and optical adhesive bonding. Development of this product kicked off in early 2025, and it has now achieved continuous roll-to-roll mass production, with performance metrics matching those of imported products. Certification with end clients is advancing steadily.
STICK emphasized that both projects are progressing seamlessly and will further bolster the company's self-reliance and import substitution capabilities in the upstream optical display materials sector.
