II. Insights from Industry Leaders and Trends

In 2024, the automotive industry stands at a historical crossroads.

To the left, the price war intensifies, and automakers' revenues increase without profit gains;

To the right, the tide of going overseas surges, and unequal tariffs hang like the sword of Damocles, making automotive exports more challenging.

Whether to the left or right, the Chinese automotive industry is actively exploring the path of transformation and upgrading to cope with the increasingly complex global market environment.

At today's forum, whether it was guest speeches or interactive discussions, we felt the determination of the automotive plastics industry chain to break through and witnessed the iterative innovations in application exploration, materials, and molding solutions for automotive plastics.

Challenges and opportunities coexist for automotive exports

Ye Feiluan, Deputy Project Director of Adsale Publishing Limited, pointed out in her speech that the Chinese manufacturing industry, represented by the Chinese automotive industry, is rising vigorously with a firm and powerful step towards going overseas, heralding a new era of Chinese manufacturing, the "Age of Great Exploration."
