Farsight, October 1st News: Huawei has officially launched its much-anticipated Mate 90 series smartphones, encompassing the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max, Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition, and the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design. These cutting-edge devices boast sleek straight screens and vibrant color-block designs. Notably, some high-end models are compatible with external modular cameras, offering users enhanced versatility.

When it comes to pricing, the Mate 90 starts at 5999 Yuan, the Mate 90 Pro at 6999 Yuan, the Mate 90 Pro Max at 9499 Yuan, the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition at 10999 Yuan, and the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design at 12999 Yuan. These devices will be available for purchase starting at 12:08 PM today through Huawei Mall, authorized e-commerce platforms, Huawei Experience Stores, and authorized retailers.
The Mate 90 series features a range of chip configurations tailored to different models. The Mate 90 is powered by the Kirin 9030 chipset, while the Mate 90 Pro is equipped with the Kirin 9035. The Mate 90 Pro Max offers two variants: the 12GB+512GB model is powered by the Kirin 9050, and the 16GB+512GB model utilizes the Kirin 9050 Pro. The Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition and the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design also come with the Kirin 9050 Pro chipset. Notably, the 16GB+2TB version of the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design is priced at 18999 Yuan.

In terms of display technology, the Mate 90 and Mate 90 Pro feature 6.75-inch straight screens with front 3D ToF designs, providing an immersive viewing experience. The Mate 90 Pro Max, on the other hand, boasts a larger 6.9-inch screen. Huawei has announced that the screens of the Mate 90 Pro and Mate 90 Pro Max can achieve a peak brightness of 12,000 nits under 1% APL conditions. Additionally, the Mate 90 Pro Max supports the BT.2020 color gamut, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction. The Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design features Kunlun Glass, enhancing durability, and supports both Beidou and Tiantong dual-satellite communication for seamless connectivity.

When it comes to imaging capabilities, the Mate 90 and Mate 90 Pro are equipped with third-generation Red Maple primary color cameras and 50-megapixel variable aperture main cameras. The sensor sizes are 1/1.56 inches and 1/1.28 inches, respectively, ensuring exceptional image quality. The Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design takes it a step further with an 18EV ultra-high dynamic range main camera and a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, delivering unparalleled photography performance.

Huawei has also introduced the Ruiying Z10 modular camera, which features a 1-inch 50-megapixel RYYB sensor. This sensor supports an equivalent focal length of 24-240mm and 10x continuous optical zoom, providing users with exceptional flexibility in capturing images. The Ruiying Z10 is sold separately, with both H1 and H2 mount versions priced at 5999 Yuan. It is compatible with the Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition and the Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design, respectively. The Mate 90 Pro Max Collector's Edition and Z10 modular camera bundle is priced at 19499 Yuan, while the SmallRig teleconverter kit for the Mate 90 Pro Max and Collector's Edition is priced at 1799 Yuan.

In terms of software features, the Mate 90 series runs on HarmonyOS 7, offering a range of innovative functions. These include Xiaoyi Note Assistant for efficient note-taking, Remote Huawei Share for seamless file sharing, Harmony Star Shield Security for enhanced device protection, and 3D Space Wallpapers for a visually stunning user experience.
