On October 10, Farsight reported that Li Auto unveiled a Q&A session detailing the 2026 Li Auto i6, marking it as the brand’s first globally developed all-electric vehicle. This model is set to make its European premiere at the Paris Motor Show on October 12, followed by a market launch and deliveries across Europe. Meanwhile, in China, static displays of the new vehicle will be available at 485 stores nationwide starting October 11. An official launch event with test drives is scheduled for October 28, with deliveries expected to commence in early November.

Li Auto stated that the 2026 i6 has been designed to meet global standards from the ground up, encompassing the entire vehicle as well as key components such as in-house-developed motors, batteries, and chips. Regarding safety, the vehicle adheres to Euro NCAP five-star safety criteria and will undergo formal testing following its European launch.
In terms of aesthetics, the 2026 Li Auto i6 offers six color options, including three metallic finishes—Pearl White, Alien Silver, and Black Knight—and three cool-toned hues—Cloud Yellow, Hyacinth Purple, and Magnetic Blue. Notably, Magnetic Blue and Hyacinth Purple are newly introduced shades.

Li Auto also unveiled the "Captain Radish" Li Companion NFC plush toy. When placed in the vehicle’s感应 (induction) zone, it enables users to customize the Li Companion’s appearance, trigger unique wake-up responses, and modify related visuals on the map, music player, and clock screensaver interfaces. This plush toy will soon be available for purchase through the Li Auto store.

On October 9, Li Xinyang, head of Li Auto’s product line, shared six key upgrades for the 2026 i6, covering lighting, front trunk functionality, seating, display screens, chipsets, and driving range. The vehicle comes standard with ADB matrix headlights and includes low-beam auxiliary lighting. Its electric front trunk supports opening, closing, and soft-close operations, which can be activated by tapping the hood, using a mobile app, or issuing voice commands with voiceprint recognition.
Inside, the cabin features two full-size zero-gravity seats in the front row, offering 16-way electric adjustment, 18-point kneading massage, ventilation, and heating functions. The leg supports provide four-way electric adjustment and heating. The second-row seat backrest allows for 25° to 50° electric adjustment. For infotainment, the first row boasts a 29-inch 6K panoramic screen, while the second-row display has been upgraded to 4K resolution.
According to Li Xinyang, the vehicle’s advanced driver-assistance system is powered by the in-house-developed Mach M100 chip, boasting a computing capacity of 1280 TOPS. The cabin relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chip. Every model comes equipped with a 96 kWh in-house-developed 5C ultra-fast-charging battery, delivering a CLTC range of 780 kilometers for the rear-wheel-drive variant and 710 kilometers for the all-wheel-drive version.
