On May 21st, Fast Technology reported that Canon has released an innovative cross-border product, the PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera.

This laser rangefinder camera combines the advantages of telescope technology and compact digital cameras, making it suitable for users who need laser rangefinding as well as golf enthusiasts.

The PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera uses laser rangefinding technology, which differs from GPS rangefinding products on the market. It has high rangefinding accuracy and comes with a photography function.

It features an integrated compact structure design, with a lightweight body weighing only about 151g, making it easy to carry.

The PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera is equipped with a sensor of approximately 11 million pixels and has a measurement range of approximately 7-800 yards (about 6.4-732 meters).

It has a built-in lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of approximately 410mm, and can also use 2x digital zoom to extend the focal length to approximately 820mm, enabling it to capture the flagpole even at a long distance, giving a comprehensive view of the target hole.

At the same time, the PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera is also a laser rangefinder with photography and video recording functions. It can not only record JPEG format photos and MP4 format videos but also help golfers measure and record distances.

The PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera has a slope compensation function that can not only measure the straight-line distance to the set target but also measure the distance the ball should fly based on the slope of the fairway.

It is worth mentioning that the PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera can record photos and videos with measured distances written in. After playing, it can be replayed and reviewed. By capturing images of tee shots, second shots, putts, and chip shots near the green, it can help users improve their golf skills.

The Canon PowerShot GOLF laser rangefinder camera will be released in July, and the price has not been announced yet.
