It's evident that since Xiaomi Auto's rise to prominence, numerous competitors have been closely monitoring Xiaomi's moves and emulating its strategies.

Take, for instance, the previous Shangjie Z7 series, which was clearly crafted to rival the Xiaomi SU7. It boasted similar aesthetics, color options, configurations, pricing, and even wheel designs.

To be candid, the Shangjie Z7 and Z7T have fared quite impressively. In less than six months since their debut, sales have soared to approximately 30,000 units, with a peak monthly sales volume surpassing 10,000 units.

This underscores the effectiveness of the strategy of following in Xiaomi's footsteps.

Recently, we've discovered that Hongmeng Zhixing has unveiled another vehicle aimed squarely at Xiaomi Auto—the highly anticipated Zhijie RX, which is directly targeting the Xiaomi YU7.

Firstly, in terms of appearance, there are numerous resemblances between the two. Their elongated hoods, sleek silhouettes, and low-slung profiles all share a similar design ethos with the YU7.

In fact, their design philosophies appear to be quite aligned as well.

The YU7 emphasizes sportiness, showcasing its prowess through track performance, and the Zhijie RX follows suit, directly demonstrating its capabilities on the racetrack.

The RX clocked a time of 01:43.210 at Zhejiang Circuit with factory-standard tires, slightly edging out the YU7 Max and earning the title of the fastest mass-produced SUV from a Chinese brand currently.

Moreover, in terms of pricing, they are in direct competition. The price range spans from 259,800 to 389,800 yuan, covering a broad spectrum and targeting various iterations of the Xiaomi YU7, from the standard version to the YU7 GT version, with corresponding choices for each.

There are also numerous intriguing features that seem to echo the YU7 in some manner. After witnessing the launch event, many believe that it is clearly tailored to compete with the YU7.

As for its future performance, only time will reveal the outcome. To be honest, if the Zhijie RX also achieves robust sales, Xiaomi's path ahead may become even more arduous. As long as one of its models gains popularity, competitors will swiftly follow suit and draw inspiration from it.

Xiaomi is forging ahead, with others trailing in its wake. One can't help but wonder whether Lei Jun should take pride in setting a precedent or resign himself to the inevitable competition. Only Lei Jun himself truly knows the answer.
