BrainCo Unveils Bionic Dexterous Hand Revo 2

BrainCo, a pioneering brain-computer interface company, has officially launched the new generation of its bionic dexterous hand, Revo2. Weighing 383 grams and measuring approximately 76mm x 160mm, Revo2 boasts a grip strength of ≥50N and a single-hand load capacity of 20kg. Capable of sub-millimeter precision control at 0.1mm, the dexterous hand adopts a curved shape mimicking a human hand and supports real-time operations up to 1KHz. According to BrainCo's video, Revo2 can accurately insert a pen refill, smoothly grab glass balls, and strike a match.

GAC Group Debuts Humanoid Robot GoMate

At the Guangdong Provincial Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Innovation Products and Services Press Conference, GAC Group showcased its third-generation embodied humanoid robot, GoMate. Zhang Aimin, head of GAC Group's robotics team, revealed that GoMate is currently deployed in security tasks such as inspections and will soon enter automotive production lines and after-sales service markets. With a "wheel-foot combination" design, GoMate efficiently adapts to various terrains, using a two-wheel mode for smooth walking on flat roads and a four-wheel mode for enhanced stability in complex environments like stairs, grass, and crowded areas.

GAC Group plans to launch its self-developed components globally this year, demonstrating GoMate's applications across industries. The company aims to complete small-scale production of the entire machine by 2026, gradually expanding to large-scale mass production.

Blue Core Technology Secures Hundreds of Millions in Series C+ Funding

Blue Core Technology announced the completion of its Series C+ funding round, led by Kunpeng Fund. The funding will be directed towards further research and development of 3D vision sensors, breakthroughs in humanoid robot AI technology, and upgrades to the global supply chain and service system. Since its founding in 2016, Blue Core Technology has been dedicated to providing safe, reliable, and intelligent flexible logistics solutions for the manufacturing industry. Its core products include AMR 3D vision sensors with intelligent algorithms, intelligent handling robots, SMT loading and unloading robots, and unmanned forklifts. At the World Robot Conference last August, Blue Core Technology launched VersaBot, the world's first "pure vision" humanoid robot.

Lingxin Qiaoshou Raises Over RMB 100 Million in Seed Funding

On April 8, Lingxin Qiaoshou (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. announced the completion of a seed funding round exceeding RMB 100 million, led by Sequoia Seed Fund and Wankai New Materials, with follow-on investments from Lehe Capital, Lehe Finance, Huacang Capital, and Anyu. This round marks the largest seed investment in the dexterous hand industry to date and will support underlying technology research and development, as well as product optimization and iteration. Lingxin Qiaoshou, founded in 2019, focuses on building an embodied intelligence platform centered around "dexterous hand + cloud brain." The company has independently developed the Linker Hand series, which boasts the highest 42 degrees of freedom globally, surpassing the 26 degrees of freedom of the world-leading Shadow Hand. Each finger can independently have up to 9 degrees of freedom, enabling 360-degree free rotation.

Xingchen Intelligence Secures Consecutive Funding Rounds Totaling Hundreds of Millions

Xingchen Intelligence announced the consecutive completion of Series A and A+ funding rounds totaling hundreds of millions of yuan, led by Jinqiu Fund and Ant Group, with follow-on investments from Yunqi Capital and Daotong Capital. Huaxing Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor. Xingchen Intelligence pioneered the "Design for AI" integrated software and hardware system architecture, overcoming traditional rigid robot technical bottlenecks with its unique rope-driven transmission design. In 2024, Xingchen Intelligence launched the humanoid robot Astribot S1, positioned as a "new-generation AI robot assistant," demonstrating applications in home scenarios with capabilities for complex environment perception, cognition, and real-time decision-making. The company's core team, comprising six members from Tencent Robotics Lab, provides strong support for technology implementation.

Qiongche Intelligence Secures Hundreds of Millions in Pre-A++ Funding

Qiongche Intelligence announced the completion of Pre-A++ funding totaling hundreds of millions of yuan, with participation from Shengyu Investment, Qingke Venture Capital, JAY Capital, Yunqi Capital, and Shanghai Science and Innovation Fund. Lu Cewu, co-founder of Qiongche Intelligence and a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford AI Lab, leads a team with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and robotics. Qiongche Intelligence takes "Noematrix Brain" as its core, builds an integrated software and hardware platform, and launches the "3D Vision Imitation Learning Framework" to enhance robots' generalization ability and task success rate. The company pioneered the "production-accompanying" data acquisition system, providing a low-cost solution for large-scale training of embodied intelligence.

Junpu Intelligence and Zhiyuan Robotics Establish Joint Venture

Recently, Ningbo Pujia Future Robotics Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Junpu AI, Humanoid Robotics Research Institute Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Junpu Intelligence), and Shanghai Zhiyuan Xinchuang Technology Co., Ltd., held an unveiling ceremony. According to the joint venture agreement, the Research Institute and Zhiyuan Robotics will collaborate on the research, production, and sales of general-purpose humanoid robot bodies through Pujia Robotics. Pujia Robotics will also conduct secondary development of Zhiyuan Robotics' robot bodies to adapt them to specific industrial scenarios and promote their commercialization. Additionally, Pujia Robotics will provide Zhiyuan Robotics with equipment for robot body assembly lines, inspection, and testing, and establish robot production lines overseas, relying on Junpu Intelligence's global network. The first-phase production line of Pujia Robotics covers an area of approximately 2000 square meters with an expected annual production capacity of 1000 units.

Great Wall Motor Collaborates with Unitree Robotics

Great Wall Motor and Unitree Robotics have officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, aiming to promote the industrialization of robots in the automotive field through technology integration and resource sharing. The cooperation will focus on embodied intelligence underlying technologies, "vehicle + robot" scenario innovation, and intelligent vehicle manufacturing upgrades. In the initial phase, the collaboration will center on integrating "off-road vehicles + robot dogs" to explore scenarios such as equipment transportation and adventure companionship. Great Wall Motor is accelerating the evolution of smart cars into AI cars, defining them as "embodied intelligent robots with mobility capabilities," and has already established strategic collaborations with leading domestic embodied intelligent robot companies.

Hyundai Motor Group to Purchase Tens of Thousands of Boston Dynamics Robots

Boston Dynamics and Hyundai Motor Group announced plans to deepen their collaboration, with Hyundai Motor Group set to purchase "tens of thousands" of robots in the coming years. Hyundai Motor Group, which acquired an 80% stake in Boston Dynamics from SoftBank Group in 2021, has already deployed Spot robot dogs for industrial inspections and predictive maintenance in its facilities and plans to deploy Atlas humanoid robots in factories. Hyundai Motor Group will also help Boston Dynamics become "the world's leading manufacturer of advanced mobile robots" by integrating its manufacturing capabilities.

UBTECH Leads National Standard Setting for Humanoid Robots

On April 11, the series of national standards for technical requirements of humanoid robots was officially approved and initiated. UBTECH, in collaboration with Beijing Humanoid Robotics Innovation Center Co., Ltd., Shanghai AI Laboratory, and other units, jointly initiated this series of national standards and led the formulation of technical requirements for operational operations, including specifications for dexterous operations, legged mobile operations, dual-arm operations, long-sequence execution, multi-robot collaboration, obstacle avoidance during operations, endurance, and other operational technical requirements. These are the first batch of national standards in China's humanoid robot field, covering multiple technical requirements such as environment perception, decision-making and planning, motion control, and operational operations. UBTECH stated that standardization has become a crucial driving force for promoting the development of the humanoid robot industry.
