Based on the sales of domestic new energy vehicles, Dianchehui has compiled statistics on the loading of electric drive motors for pure electric passenger cars in July, with a total of 556,000 units loaded, an increase of nearly 20,000 units compared to the previous month. Among the vehicle models sold that month, 89.7% adopted a single-motor solution, 10.2% adopted a dual-motor solution, and a small number of models used three or four motors.

The top three in terms of vehicle loading in July were BYD (Fudi Power) with 147,000 units, accounting for 26% of the market share; Tesla with 56,000 units, accounting for 10% of the market share; and Huichuan Technology with 41,000 units, accounting for 7% of the market share.
In addition to using its own drive motors, BYD also supplies them in large quantities to external companies such as Toyota and Dongfeng. A few models from Lan Electric, Skyworth, and Haima also use BYD motors. Huichuan Technology's core customers in the pure electric passenger car segment are Xiaomi and GAC Aion, accounting for 97% of its business.
Shuanglin Co., Ltd. achieved a loading volume of 23,000 units by supplying to Wuling, Changan, Besturn, Baojun, Kaiyi, and Chery, ranking fifth.
Companies under Geely Group cannot be overlooked in the field of drive motors. Jidian Electric, Weirui Electric, Xingqu Technology, and Jiguangwan Technology have supplied to Zeekr, Geely Auto, smart, Jiyue, Volvo, Polestar, England, and Lotus, achieving a combined loading volume of 34,000 units. The core of this business lies with Jidian Electric and Weirui Electric, with loading volumes of 21,000 and 12,000 units, respectively.
CRRC Zhuzhou Institute mainly supplies to Wuling, Hongqi, Baojun, Nezha, and Besturn, with a total supporting volume of 17,000 units.
United Electronic Technology mainly supplies to Xiaomi, Buick, Ora, Roewe, etc., with a total supporting volume of 13,000 units. Huawei supplies drive motors to AITO, Zhi Jie, AVATR, Besturn, and ARCFOX, with a total supporting volume of 12,000 units.
Most of the new force enterprises, such as NIO, XPeng, and Leapmotor, use self-produced motors. Due to their relatively good sales performance, motor loading is gradually increasing.
Judging from the parameters of new cars, with the continuous advancement of new energy vehicle technology, drive motor technology is also constantly innovating. As can be seen from the data, high performance, high efficiency, low noise, and lightweight are the main development directions of current motor technology. Companies are increasing their R&D investment to improve the comprehensive performance of motors and meet market demand for high-quality electric vehicles.
