From the World Intelligence Congress to the World Intelligence Industry Expo; from being independently hosted by Tianjin and Chongqing to the joint organization by the two municipalities. From June 20th to 23rd, the 2024 World Intelligence Industry Expo, after a "renewal and upgrade," was held in Tianjin.
With the theme of "Intelligent Journeys, Dynamic Futures," this expo will feature 10 major theme exhibition areas including Artificial Intelligence, Provincial and Municipal, Smart Connected Vehicles, Information Technology Application Innovation, Smart Manufacturing, Intelligent Transportation and Smart Construction, Smart Living, Digital Finance, Industry-Education Integration, and International Competitions.
With 8 exhibition halls and a 100,000-square-meter exhibition setup, it will comprehensively, broadly, and three-dimensionally highlight the top technological products and innovative talent development achievements in the global smart technology sector.
Gathering industry leaders and renowned enterprises, it is a concrete manifestation of the expo's consistent high standards and a window to observe the development trends of the global intelligent industry.
The "Changes" and "Unchanged" Behind the Innovative Organization of the Expo
This year's World Intelligence Industry Expo is somewhat different from previous editions—it is the first time that two national-level intelligent industry conferences have been held jointly.
The 2024 World Intelligence Industry Expo is a merger of the World Intelligence Congress, originally hosted by Tianjin, and the China International Smart Industry Expo, hosted by Chongqing.
It is also a collaboration between the two municipalities of Tianjin and Chongqing, contributing to a top-tier event in the global intelligent industry.
According to reports, this expo attracted 550 participating companies worldwide, an increase of over 50 companies compared to last year. Among them are 33 Fortune 500 companies such as China Electronics, Huawei, Alibaba, and Tencent, 67 domestic top 500 companies including Baidu, Inspur, 360, Seres, Zongshen, and Cloud Account, more than 20 foreign companies such as Tesla, General Electric, and Danfoss, 59 central state-owned enterprises such as China Electronics, China North Industries Group, and China General Technology, and 57 universities and research institutions including Tianjin University, Nankai University, and the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin.
Additionally, this expo also features a Tianjin-themed exhibition area, with delegations from Beijing, Hebei, Chongqing, Guangdong, and other related provinces and cities participating. A separate International Brand Pavilion will showcase products in various fields such as Smart Healthcare and Smart Living.
Artificial intelligence, smart connected vehicles, smart manufacturing, and other areas have been global hotspots in recent years. This expo closely follows the trends of the times, comprehensively showcasing cutting-edge new technologies, industry trends, new tracks, and new application scenarios in the field of intelligent technology, focusing on displaying the top new technologies, products, and experiences in the global intelligent technology sector.
In terms of participants, government officials, authoritative scientists, industry leaders, elites, and top enterprises from both China and abroad gathered in Tianjin to discuss the prospects and future of the global intelligent industry, aiming to promote technological prosperity and development for the benefit of people worldwide based on openness and cooperation.
These leading intelligent industry enterprises and professionals in various fields constitute the "foundation" of the World Intelligence Industry Expo.
Always focusing on the future development of the artificial intelligence industry and advancing together with the global intelligent industry is the "unchanged" mission of the World Intelligence Industry Expo.
In fact, whether it is the original World Intelligence Congress or the China International Smart Industry Expo, they have also been "seeking change" and continuously innovating and evolving.
The World Intelligence Industry Expo is also very "fashionable," constantly staying at the forefront of global intelligent industry development.
Taking the low-altitude economy, which is currently the hottest topic this year, as an example, it is a trillion-dollar market and one of the several strategic emerging industries that China is currently building.
