Fast technology news on June 21st, the Huawei Developer Conference 2024 will officially open this afternoon.
As the key focus, "pure-bred HarmonyOS" HarmonyOS NEXT is expected to officially announce its public beta test this afternoon, according to Yu Chengdong's previous plans, allowing ordinary consumers to experience "pure-bred HarmonyOS" as well.
It is reported that the first batch of supported phones will be the Mate 60 series and Pura 70 series.
Notably, as a "pure-bred HarmonyOS", HarmonyOS NEXT removes the traditional Linux kernel and AOSP Android open-source code, and is fully self-developed.
According to the latest report from Sina Technology, Huawei will also complete the last link of the HarmonyOS ecosystem by officially unveiling the self-developed Cangjie programming language at the conference.
In fact, there were rumors in 2020 that Huawei was developing its own programming language, Cangjie.
Subsequently, when Huawei first released the HarmonyOS 3 Developer Preview in 2021, Gong Ti, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software Department, announced that Huawei would release a newly developed programming language for HarmonyOS, completing the last link in the construction of the HarmonyOS ecological infrastructure.
Now, Huawei's self-developed programming language Cangjie is finally coming to the forefront, making its first public appearance.
Recently, Huawei's "Programming Language Lab" public account has been renamed "Cangjie Programming Language".
In addition, there is also a project titled "Cangjie Language Assisting Efficient Development of HarmonyOS Native Applications" in the agenda of the Huawei Developer Conference 2024.
