On August 19, Tesla China's official website introduced the new Model Y L, a six-seat SUV priced from 339,000 yuan, with an anticipated delivery date set for September 2025.
On the afternoon of August 20, Tesla's official Weibo account announced that all Model Y L models had arrived at dealerships, where consultation and test drive services would be available.
In terms of dimensions, the Model Y L boasts a 179mm longer body and a 150mm extended wheelbase compared to the current Model Y, measuring 4976/1920/1668mm, with a wheelbase of 3040mm, a curb weight of 2088kg, and a gross vehicle weight of 2651kg.
Power-wise, the Model Y L features a dual-motor all-wheel drive system, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds. Equipped with an 82kWh ternary lithium battery, it achieves a driving range of 751km under CLTC conditions.
During the first half of this year, Tesla delivered 720,800 new vehicles globally, marking a decrease of approximately 13.3% compared to the 831,000 vehicles delivered in the same period last year. With the official launch of the Model Y L, do you foresee a surge in Tesla's sales performance?
