On October 24, 2025, in Suzhou—Zeiss pulled off a resounding success with its '2025 Zeiss Automotive Quality Innovation Day' grand event at its flagship exhibition center today. Centered around the theme 'Quality Drives the Future,' the event convened global experts from the automotive industry chain to deliberate on quality challenges amidst the electrification transformation. Around 200 attendees bore witness to the global unveiling of Zeiss's new online inspection solution and the release of the inaugural 'Automotive Industry Quality White Paper,' marking a pivotal stride by Zeiss in facilitating standardized collaboration across the industry. This event stands as a significant continuation and all-encompassing upgrade of the inaugural New Energy Vehicle Innovation Day in 2023, scaling up in magnitude and encompassing a wider array of areas, thereby providing the industry with a more abundant and profound sharing of information on quality solutions.

Launch of Groundbreaking New Products: Online Inspection Solution Fuels High-Quality Battery Production
At the Innovation Day, Zeiss globally introduced the ZEISS INRADIA series online inspection solution, integrating 2D and 3D inspection technologies, meticulously crafted to cater to the high-precision, high-efficiency quality control demands in power battery production. Moreover, this inspection solution is also applicable for non-destructive testing of precision components in traditional fuel systems.

Industry Quality White Paper: Bridging the Gap in Quality Standards Across the Industrial Chain
The 'Automotive Industry Quality White Paper' unveiled this time was a collaborative effort by Zeiss with over 100 leading enterprises, amalgamating over 150 quality solutions spanning more than a dozen technical domains, including batteries, motors, bodies, and chassis. The white paper, for the first time, introduces the 'Automotive Quality Gold Standard' framework, aiming to tackle prevalent challenges in electrification transformation, such as battery safety and electric drive reliability, while offering systematic quality guidelines for optimizing traditional power systems. Chen Tao, the Global Head of Automotive and New Energy Vehicle Business at Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, specially invited Li Liguo, Director of the Metrology and Inspection Center at Geely Automobile, to jointly partake in the white paper's release ceremony.

Chen Tao remarked, 'The 'monthly iteration' development pace in the Chinese market is reshaping the global quality landscape, with flexible manufacturing emerging as a core competitive edge. Taking body manufacturing as an instance, the flexible inspection solutions we devised for local new energy vehicle companies are equally pertinent to the steel-aluminum hybrid body production lines of German luxury brands.' He specifically highlighted the white paper's inclusive design for next-generation technologies, 'Whether it's solid-state batteries or hydrogen fuel cells, the early establishment of quality standards will mitigate the risks associated with technology route shifts.'
