As the golden season of "Golden September, Silver October" arrives in the auto market, multiple domestic new-force automakers have delivered remarkable performance figures in September. Driven by national scrappage and replacement policies, as well as the festive season, the new energy vehicle (NEV) market has shown robust growth, with various new-force automakers achieving new highs in deliveries. During the National Day holiday, dealerships of many automakers were bustling with customers, and test drive bookings were in high demand.
Lixiang One: Continuing to Lead, Achieving New Heights

Among Lixiang One's product lines, both the L series and MEGA series performed impressively. Overall, HarmonyOS Smart Mobility's September performance was commendable, with strong sales rebound and further consolidation of its position in the high-end auto market. On September 28, Yu Chengdong, in a live broadcast with host Ma Dong, first stated that "HarmonyOS Smart Mobility aims to become the leader in the 300,000-500,000 yuan high-end vehicle segment in China within five years." As market demand gradually recovers and consumer confidence improves, HarmonyOS Smart Mobility is poised to bring more surprises to the market.

Other New-Force Automakers: Displaying Diverse Strengths
Apart from the aforementioned leading new-force automakers, other players also delivered impressive results in September. ZEEKR delivered 21,333 units, marking a year-on-year growth of 77% and a month-on-month increase of 18%, showcasing robust growth momentum. Landwind Auto delivered over 10,000 units in September, achieving a "five-month winning streak" in monthly sales. The all-new Landwind Dreamer surpassed 5,000 deliveries within 12 days of its launch. Automakers like IM Motors and Geely's JEEP brand also achieved significant month-on-month growth in deliveries.
Policy Support and Market Drivers
Behind the new highs achieved by multiple new-force automakers in September lies a combination of active national policy support and robust market demand. This year, national scrappage and replacement policies, along with local incentives, have provided significant subsidies for individual vehicles, driving market growth and potentially reducing consumer hesitancy. Additionally, the combined effects of the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays further stimulated auto consumption.
According to preliminary data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), retail sales of passenger vehicles in China are expected to reach 2.1 million units in September, marking a year-on-year increase of 4% and a month-on-month growth of 10.1%. Specifically, retail sales of domestic NEVs are projected to reach 1.1 million units, up 47.3% year-on-year and 7.3% month-on-month, with a penetration rate of approximately 52.4%.
Cui Dongshu, Secretary-General of the CPCA, commented that as the national scrappage and replacement subsidy policies gain momentum, the market recovery is significantly boosting auto sales. The easing of price wars has reduced pressure on automakers, and the auto market is entering a period of sustained strength. With 21 working days in September, one more than last year, and no early holidays at the end of the month, the effective sales period was extended. This year's "Golden September" effect will be more pronounced, contributing to increased sales.
Entering October, national scrappage and replacement policies, combined with the Golden Week auto show and self-drive travel boom, as well as dealers' year-end push, will continue to drive demand in the domestic auto market. With domestic automakers Intensive release of new products , auto sales in October are expected to remain high or experience slight growth compared to September.
