For example, in PLC overload protection circuits, optocouplers can detect current overload signals and cut off power upon detection, protecting motors and the PLC system from damage.
The application of optocouplers not only improves the stability and reliability of PLC systems but also aids in simplifying system design and maintenance, reducing failure rates, and significantly enhancing industrial automation levels, making production processes more efficient, flexible, and reliable. Selecting suitable optocoupler models and applying them reasonably in PLC systems will effectively improve control system performance and efficiency.
