From a broader market perspective, the passenger vehicle market exhibited a structural recovery trend from January to February 2025, particularly for new energy vehicles. Rapid product technology advancements and sustained growth in production and sales have fueled this sector's expansion. According to the China Passenger Car Association, nationwide wholesale sales of passenger vehicles reached 3.865 million units in January-February, marking a year-on-year increase of 12.7%. New energy vehicles emerged as the primary driver of market growth, with cumulative wholesale sales of 1.719 million units, representing a 48.0% increase.
BYD's ability to shine in such a competitive landscape and achieve the double champion feat is no mere coincidence. In terms of product portfolio, BYD boasts an extensive range of new energy vehicle models. On the technological front, the company's years of deep accumulation in the new energy field have begun to bear fruit. On February 10th of this year, BYD hosted an intelligent strategy conference, unveiling a cutting-edge intelligent driving system named "Tian Shen Zhi Yan" (Eyes of the Heavenly God) and announcing its integration into 21 models spanning a price range from 70,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan, including the budget-friendly Haiou, thereby democratizing intelligent driving.
The double champion honor not only underscores BYD's intrinsic strength but also mirrors the robust upward trajectory of Chinese auto brands. Amidst the wave of new energy transformation, BYD's sales performance underscores that only by harmonizing technological innovation with user-centric thinking can one remain steadfast at the forefront of market competition. As BYD continues to push boundaries in intelligence and globalization, its leading position is poised to pen even more exhilarating chapters for the Chinese auto industry.
