The Apple iPhone 15 Pro seems to lack surprises as it has remained lukewarm since its release, and Apple has recently discounted the iPhone 15 series phones in an attempt to boost sales in China. With more than three months left until the release of the new generation of iPhone, consumers may be more interested in news about the next generation iPhone 16. Currently, there are reports that Apple has approved Samsung and LG to mass-produce screens for the iPhone 16 Pro, and this screen is expected to be the model with the narrowest bezels in Apple's history.

According to foreign media reports, Apple has approved screen manufacturers Samsung and LG to mass-produce the latest OLED screens for the iPhone 16 Pro, indicating that the phone is about to enter the mass production stage. Samsung has also previously obtained Apple's approval to produce iPhone 16 OLED screens. To further enhance the appearance of the iPhone, it is rumored that Apple will further reduce the thickness of the screen bezels, which can be reduced to less than 1.5mm based on the bezel reduction structure, making it the iPhone with the narrowest screen in history. Currently, the bezel thickness of the iPhone 15 Pro is 1.5mm, while that of the iPhone 14 Pro is 2.2mm. In comparison, the screen thickness of the Meizu 20 from the Android camp is approximately 1.57mm, giving the iPhone a certain advantage over Android phones.

Of course, with the reduction in bezel thickness, the iPhone 16 Pro's screen size will also increase, reaching 6.3 inches, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will reach 6.9 inches. Despite the larger screen, the phone size will remain largely unchanged, and the grip feel will also remain almost the same. Currently, Apple's situation is not ideal, with its domestic market share continuously decreasing. For Apple, if the iPhone continues to squeeze out small improvements, it will face more external pressure, and sales may continue to decline. It's time for big changes.
