On August 9, OFILM issued a clarification announcement in response to a recent media report titled 'OFILM Faces Accusations! Actual Controller Cai Rongjun Allegedly Establishes External Companies to Strip Assets from Listed Company.' The company explicitly stated that the content of the report was an online rumor and that it had reported the matter to public security authorities and would pursue legal responsibility in accordance with the law.

In response to reports questioning whether actual controller Cai Rongjun had channeled benefits to New Fiber Optic Communication Technology Co., Ltd. and New Thinking Motor Co., Ltd., which he controls, OFILM provided clarifications from three dimensions: R&D, business operations, and related-party transactions:
At the R&D level, the company's R&D objectives, technological routes, and product application scenarios differ significantly from those of New Fiber Optic and New Thinking. The processes, technologies, and patents developed by the company serve its own products exclusively. There is no instance of shared or generalized technology, nor is there a scenario where the company bears R&D losses and then transfers mature processes to New Fiber Optic's optical module products free of charge.
At the business level, the company focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of optical components for consumer electronics, such as cameras and optical lenses, while New Fiber Optic specializes in optical modules and active optical cables. The company has not produced or contracted to manufacture optical module components, glass bridges, precision structural parts, or other products mentioned in the report for New Fiber Optic. Regarding the VCM motor business, the company denied the claim that it had 'split off core businesses from OFILM in earlier years, with the company bearing R&D costs and New Thinking reaping high margins once the businesses matured.'
In terms of related-party transactions, the company only engaged in a Factory rental (factory lease) transaction worth RMB 1.23 million with New Fiber Optic in 2023 over the past three years. Its related-party transactions with New Thinking primarily involved the procurement of motor products necessary for normal production and operations, with a procurement amount of RMB 324 million and sales amount of RMB 2.45 million in 2023. Pricing for these transactions was based on market principles, and there was no channeling of benefits.
This clarification comes at a critical juncture in OFILM's strategic transformation. The company is leveraging its optical manufacturing technology as a link to make strategic moves in areas such as machine vision, optical modules, and glass-based advanced packaging, thereby building an 'optical core' strategic cluster.
Recently, the company secured a position in the TGV glass-based advanced packaging sector by acquiring a controlling stake in Zhongke Daojing. It independently established a machine vision company and collaborated with enterprises such as UBTECH to deploy embodied AI. In the automotive optics segment, it also won an industry award for its 17M ultra-high-pixel wide-angle imaging lens.
