Quick Tech News on August 8th: Today, Alibaba Cloud announced at the Wannet renewal conference that its domain name product services have completed AI-based series upgrades, launching the first domain name AI application based on the Tongyi large model, and launched over 40 new popular domain name suffixes such as ".ai" and 20 million global domain name resources.

It is reported that the upgraded Alibaba Cloud Wannet has achieved intelligent naming. Users only need to input brand information and the industry they belong to, and with one click, the Tongyi large model can generate creative domain names in bulk.

At the same time, the large model will automatically perform semantic analysis, output the meaning of the domain name, and provide available options through multi-dimensional evaluation and usability screening.

In addition, Alibaba Cloud has further expanded its popular domain name resources, launching over 40 new domain suffixes, including ".ai", ".car", ".me", etc. There are over 200 registrable domain suffixes and over 20 million tradable global domain names.

It is worth mentioning that Alibaba Cloud Wannet has launched a mini-program port, allowing convenient mobile operations for a series of operations such as domain name inquiry, registration, and management.

This time, Alibaba Cloud also launched a "Brand Support Plan" based on domain names: offering new users a special offer of 1 yuan for the first year of domain name registration, covering 8 mainstream suffixes such as ".com", greatly reducing the threshold for entrepreneurs to build their brands; at the same time, offering limited-time discounts on 5 popular domain names such as ".cn" and ".ai", with discounts of up to 28%.

Up to now, Alibaba Cloud Wannet has accumulated over 40 million domain name registrations and over 2 million users.
