According to a report on August 12 by Fast Technology, AMD may have abandoned plans to launch entry-level RX 7400 and RX 7300 graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 architecture, instead focusing on the next-generation RDNA 4 architecture.

Despite previous rumors that AMD would release these two graphics cards based on the Navi 33 chip, AMD's AIB (Add-in-Board) partners currently do not have related products on their development lists.

AMD's AIB partners are currently busy developing a new generation of Radeon graphics cards based on the RDNA 4 architecture. It is reported that the RDNA 4 architecture will bring two main products: the high-end Navi 48 and the mainstream-oriented Navi 44.

However, the report also stated that it is unclear whether the RX 7400/7300 are being developed specifically for Dell, HP, and Lenovo, the top three PC OEMs, as the previous generation's lowest-end RX 6300 was mainly a special model targeting the OEM market.

Finally, the report believes that if the RX 7400/7300 are indeed launched, their prices are bound to be below $200, and they may adopt 6GB and 4GB GDDR6 memory. Compared to the RX 7600, which also uses Navi 33, the cost difference mainly lies in the amount of memory.
