The first position in Baidu PR has finally been settled
On August 9, Beijing Business Daily reported that Jiang Xinjie officially joined Baidu as the head of Baidu PR, reporting to Liang Zhixiang, senior vice president of Baidu Group, and responsible for the company's external communication and public relations management.
Jiang Xinjie was previously the former vice president of Qihoo 360. According to public information, Jiang Xinjie became famous overnight in the 2001 National College Entrance Examination with his essay "The Death of the Red Hare", and was later admitted to Nanjing Normal University.
After graduation, Jiang Xinjie chose the media industry, and media organizations such as China Youth Daily were all part of his career. Later, he turned to the field of corporate public relations and held important positions in the Public Relations Department of Alibaba Group, Intime Group, and Qihoo 360 Group.
In May, Qu Jing, the former head of Baidu PR, resigned due to several controversial short videos, leaving the position temporarily vacant, and the related work was directly supervised by Liang Zhixiang, Baidu's senior vice president.
Jiang Xinjie's joining Baidu can be said to be a win-win choice. For Baidu, as a leader in the technology industry with strong capabilities in AI and Internet technology, Jiang Xinjie's rich PR experience and extensive network will further enhance Baidu's capabilities in PR management and brand promotion. On the other hand, this is also a new challenge and opportunity for Jiang Xinjie. His joining will inject new vitality into Baidu.
Previously, BOSS Zhipin showed that Qihoo 360 Group was seeking a new PR head through the recruitment platform, with a monthly salary of 70,000-100,000 yuan, and a generous 15-month salary package.
On August 12, multiple media outlets revealed that Zhang Yongsheng, former deputy editor-in-chief of the in-depth investigation department of Beijing News, has been appointed vice president of Qihoo 360 Group, responsible for marketing and public relations communication.
