A few days ago, Apple officially announced the iPhone 16 series and other new products at its new product launch event. However, apart from invited media and KOLs, many domestic Apple fans couldn't experience the new iPhone 16 series firsthand. But at 8 AM Beijing time on September 20th, domestic Apple fans were finally able to personally feel the charm of Apple's new products.

Despite the heavy rain caused by the typhoon in Shanghai in the morning and despite the price increase across the entire series, with a starting price of as high as 5999 yuan, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of domestic Apple fans. At the Apple Jing'an Store in Jing'an Temple Square, even before the store opened at 8 AM, many users were already queuing outside in the pouring rain, ready to enter and purchase the iPhone 16 series. Demand for the Pro series was particularly high, and users had to present a QR code reservation to make a purchase, which soon sold out.

The Apple Jing'an Store in Shanghai is currently the highest-specification Apple flagship store in China. The store already has prototypes of the entire iPhone 16 series on display. The store also thoughtfully places the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus alongside the two Pro series models to allow customers to intuitively feel the difference in screen sizes. Among them, the iPhone 16 series has the smallest screen size at 6.1 inches, while the iPhone 16 Plus reaches 6.7 inches. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively.

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus focus on design. Although they only have two cameras, they offer five colors. Additionally, they include a physical touch button below the right frame, supporting tap, long press, and swipe operations. Currently, this button can quickly launch the camera and adjust exposure or filters, and it may integrate various practical Apple AI functions in the future.

In terms of camera specifications, both the rear main cameras of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are 48 megapixels. While the ultra-wide-angle secondary camera remains at 12 megapixels, its aperture has been increased to f/2.2, and it now supports macro photography. It also supports shooting 4K 60fps Dolby Vision HDR video.

Other major upgrades for the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus include an upgraded A18 processor. The A18 is equipped with a new generation of 6-core CPU, including 2 performance cores and 4 energy-efficient cores. It also boasts a new generation of 5-core GPU and a new generation of 16-core neural engine. For users seeking a variable refresh rate screen, they should consider the Pro series.

The two Pro series models come in four colors and feature a 120Hz variable refresh rate screen. Their camera systems have been upgraded to a triple-camera setup, with both the main and ultra-wide-angle cameras boasting 48 megapixels. They also include a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, supporting 4K 120fps slow-motion video recording and 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video recording. The right frame of the Pro series also includes a physical touch button for easy parameter adjustment during photography.

Furthermore, the processors in the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have been upgraded to the A18 Pro, which is even more advanced than the A18, featuring a new generation of 6-core GPU.

In addition to the iPhone 16 series, new Apple Watch and AirPods models were also officially unveiled at the Apple Jing'an Store in Shanghai. The Apple Watch Series 10 boasts a thickness of only 9.7mm and a significantly larger dial area compared to previous models. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 introduces a new satin black style.

The new AirPods model is the AirPods 4, a semi-in-ear wireless Bluetooth headset equipped with an H2 chip, supporting spatial audio. It offers a battery life of 5 hours per charge and up to 30 hours of total battery life. It is available in both standard and active noise cancellation versions. Additionally, the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Max have also undergone changes. The AirPods Pro 2 introduces new hearing protection and professional hearing aid functionality, enhancing the headset's practicality. The AirPods Max adds new color options and switches to a USB Type-C interface.

Notably, the Apple Jing'an Store also has professional guides to introduce customers to the features of Apple's latest iOS 18 operating system. Customers can also experience the MR headset Vision Pro on-site. In short, customers who are hesitant about whether to upgrade their devices can visit an Apple retail store to feel these new products for themselves, and perhaps find their answer after experiencing them.
