On September 9, the sales ranking for emerging auto brands during the first week of September (September 1-7) was unveiled, revealing notable shifts compared to prior periods. Let's delve into the details together!
To begin with, Leapmotor emerged as the sole brand to surpass 10,000 units in sales this week, securing its position as the undisputed long-term leader among emerging auto brands. The Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, despite its five brands, fell short of the 10,000-unit mark, achieving only 8,900 units. Nevertheless, these five brands have amassed a substantial number of orders, with the Shangjie brand alone receiving over 50,000 orders and the AITO M7 exceeding 150,000 orders. Once deliveries commence, a sales rebound is anticipated.
Next, XPeng Motors recorded sales of 6,700 units, ranking third. Its sales and ranking remained relatively steady, with the XPeng MONA M03 being the main contributor. The newly launched XPeng P7 announced that it received over 10,000 orders in just 7 minutes, and it is expected that the deliveries will proceed promptly.
Moving on, NIO achieved sales of 6,300 units, ranking fourth. Leveraging the strong sales of the L90, NIO's sales have witnessed a significant uptick. The newly introduced NIO ES8 adopts a similar strategy, with a substantial official price reduction aimed at boosting market sales. It is also hoped that deliveries will be timely.
In fourth place, Xiaomi Motors sold 6,200 units, while Li Auto, previously the sales champion among emerging auto brands, sold 6,100 units, falling to sixth. Xiaomi Motors currently offers only two models, and Li Auto's sales now trail behind Xiaomi Motors. This scenario exemplifies the saying, "fortunes can change in thirty years."
Li Auto has already rolled out the Li i8 to stimulate sales, but the impact has been limited. The Li i6 is in the pipeline, and it is hoped that its launch will contribute to an increase in Li Auto's sales. Meanwhile, Zeekr sold 3,300 units, ranking seventh, and SERES sold 3,200 units, ranking eighth. Zeekr and SERES have comparable sales figures, but despite having a wider range of models, their sales have not seen a significant boost.
Lastly, VOYAH sold 2,400 units, ranking ninth, and DENZA sold 1,700 units, ranking tenth. Leveraging its deep collaboration with Huawei, VOYAH has equipped the VOYAH Dreamer, VOYAH FREE+, and VOYAH Zhiyin with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 and Harmony OS Cockpit 5, further propelling sales.
