Today marks a significant milestone as Wuhan Changjin Photonics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Changjin Photonics") made its grand entrance onto the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, distinguishing itself as the inaugural listed enterprise in China dedicated to the specialized field of optical fibers. Priced at RMB 40.98 per share and underwritten by Guotai Junan Securities, Changjin Photonics embarked on its public trading journey.

Within a mere five minutes of the market opening, Changjin Photonics' stock price skyrocketed to RMB 619.04 per share, peaking at an astonishing RMB 688.88 during the trading session—a remarkable surge of approximately 15 times its initial offering price. This meteoric rise propelled the company's market capitalization to a staggering RMB 57.99 billion at one point.

Changjin Photonics embarked on its external financing journey in 2022, witnessing its valuation soar from RMB 200 million to a staggering RMB 1.2 billion within a single year. This exponential growth attracted substantial investments from industry giants such as Huawei Hubble, YOFC, and China Mobile Fund. Notably, Gentile, the company's second-largest shareholder with a 12.24% stake, also ranks among its top five customers, highlighting the intertwined nature of its business relationships.

The primary objective of this Initial Public Offering (IPO) is to raise RMB 780 million, with the majority earmarked for the establishment of a high-performance special optical fiber production base and a cutting-edge R&D center. Upon full completion, this ambitious project is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of 20,000 kilometers of special optical fibers and 18,500 kilometers of hollow-core fibers—a substantial increase from current levels. Changjin Photonics anticipates that its new production base will be fully operational by 2026, further solidifying its position as a leader in the special optical fiber industry.
