On August 6, OFILM Holdings successfully acquired a 51% controlling stake in Hefei Zhongke Daojing Technology Co., Ltd. through a combination of 'existing share transfer and capital injection', thereby assuming the role of the majority shareholder in Zhongke Daojing.

Established in 2023, Zhongke Daojing leverages the robust scientific research foundation of the Intelligent Microsystem Laboratory at the Institute of Intelligent Machines, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Its core team comprises postdoctoral scholars and senior researchers from the prestigious institution. With nearly a decade of expertise in the field of advanced glass substrate packaging, the company's operations encompass processes such as glass microvia fabrication, metallization, structural processing, multilayer wiring, and ball grid array (BGA) placement.

OFILM Holdings stated that this strategic acquisition of Zhongke Daojing represents another pivotal step in its optical communication sector expansion, following the establishment of OFILM Machine Vision Technology Company in June, the founding of Jiangxi OFILM Optical Micro-nano Device Company in July, and its equity participation in Xinguanglian.

In June of this year, OFILM Holdings officially inaugurated OFILM Machine Vision Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd. in Nanchang, with a registered capital of 50 million yuan, marking its direct entry into the core domain of robot perception. On July 8, Jiangxi OFILM Optical Micro-nano Device Co., Ltd. was established, with OFILM Holdings holding a 99.5% stake, focusing on the development of optical passive components for optical modules and optical interconnection applications. In the same month, OFILM Holdings also acquired an equity stake in Xinguanglian (Shenzhen) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd.

In just a few months, OFILM Holdings, capitalizing on its extensive experience in optical manufacturing technology, has made significant strides in areas such as machine vision, optical modules, and advanced glass substrate packaging, continuously reinforcing its strategic vision of 'core optics'.
