On August 20, O-film convened a pivotal leadership summit at its Nanchang Future City campus, formally introducing the 'O-film · Illuminating the Future' strategic initiative. Chairman Cai Rongjun underscored that the new strategy will be centered around 'light,' leveraging core optical technologies and strategically positioning itself across four key business domains.

As the cornerstone of the company's operations, optical lenses and imaging modules will persistently explore emerging markets, including smartphone lenses, automotive cameras, handheld imaging devices, drones, action cameras, and professional cameras. The aim is to expedite advancements and deepen market penetration in cutting-edge lens technologies.
In the realm of machine vision, O-film has forged a new core team, consolidating previously fragmented businesses into a specialized machine vision entity. This move capitalizes on existing 3D visual sensing technologies, such as iToF/dToF and binocular imaging, honed during the consumer electronics era, and propels them towards bespoke visual architectures for embodied intelligence. On July 7, O-film Machine Vision Technology (Jiangxi) Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated in Nanchang, boasting a registered capital of 50 million yuan.
Concerning advanced packaging utilizing glass substrates, O-film secured a controlling 51% stake in Zhongke Daojing in August through a blend of 'old share transfer and capital injection.' The year 2026 is widely recognized within the industry as a pivotal juncture for the mass production of glass substrates. O-film intends to harness its platform strengths to bolster Zhongke Daojing in areas like technological synergy, market expansion, and supply chain integration, thereby expediting the transition of its TGV process from research and development to full-scale production.
In the domain of passive optical devices, Jiangxi O-film Optical Micro-Nano Devices Co., Ltd. was officially established on July 8, with O-film holding a 99.5% stake. The company is strategically positioned in the core upstream sector of optical communications, concentrating on the R&D and production of passive optical devices such as FAU fiber arrays, tailored to high-speed optical interconnect pathways like NPO/CPO.
From the listing of the machine vision company in June, the establishment of the micro-nano devices company in July, to the acquisition of a controlling stake in Zhongke Daojing in August, O-film has orchestrated a series of strategic maneuvers across three emerging sectors within a mere three-month span. Drawing on its optical precision manufacturing prowess and two decades of expertise in consumer electronics optics, the company is metamorphosing from a singular optical manufacturing entity into a comprehensive optoelectronic platform catering to diverse application scenarios.
